Hello, when you put in the replacement from the junk yard did you have to get the computer module programmed or did it just work? Please explain because I have a similar situation due to my passenger air bag being deployed. Thanks in advance
if you got it from non wrecked car it should work and no codes should be stored in system but u still have calibrate seat weight sensor very ez with scan tool if u didn't do it all airbag system would work but airbag light would stay on but if u send ur car module after replacing airbag light should go away
@@toyotacamry1239 I have the SRS light on, in the past, I have been able to use the yellow plug to do a manual reset with just a paper clip and timing sequence to reset, however, it no longer will reset. If I purchase a new unit, is it plug and play, or does the dealer have to scan/program/reset the new unit to work with my cars Vin number? Dealer here is extremely expensive and hard to work with. Accord 2003 4dr sedan, original owner, no accidents or bags ever deployed. Thanks for any feedback
@@bobflyer4346unfortunately yes you have 2 get it programmed or light will stay on anyway did you know what code is it throwing coz it might be ur seat buckle sensor which most dealer will replace for free because it has a recall
@@toyotacamry1239 Thanks, the seat belt was replaced some time ago, perhaps it has gone bad again, I will use the OBD port and see what codes currently come up via reading the instrument panel flashing. I do not have a scanner. Tnx for the update
