I was there with my dad and grandfather that day as a 9 year old kid! This is the race where Jimmy Spencer knocked the hell out of Kurt Busch in the garage after the race and nowadays whenever someone asks me who was the driver that punched Kurt, I tell them it was Spencer in this race along with the exact date and it impresses everyone every time! Never forget!
I miss those days when a tiny field filler team like Haas (at the time) or CLR Racing could pull off a great qualifying effort out of nowhere. RIP Jason Leffler.
