2003 Toyota Rav4, Tackling the high fuel trim: Fuel Pump Strainer Replacement 

Thank you very much. I have a Rav4 2004. I had to replace my strainer and this has been the clearest video I've seen.

Thanks very much for your time and effort in presenting this instruction! I replaced the whole fuel pump module on my 2005 RAV4 and this video was a great help, especially being able to see how the wiring connectors should be removed. Those connectors can be quite the puzzle and it would be terrible to break one trying to get it off.

Thank you for the video. I recently got a 2002 rav4 in bad shape. But it never had fuel issues. After buying additives and changing oils with regular maintenance, I used Berryman b-12 three times in 4 months on a full tank each time. After I used it, that’s when my fuel issues began. I’m getting the same code for MAF sensor, and the car stalls when I press the gas (avoidance maneuvers/ light changing) etc I’m not saying the Berryman is bad, I’ve used it In other cars with no issue. I think it just cleaned it so much it may have brought more dirt into my strainer

Why didnt you just change the pump with the strai er while you had it out?

Tried to clean the MAF SENSOR & THE THROTLE BODY...AND RESET THE CODES I THINK THAT WILL HELP A LOT!!
