@@car-lo good stuff. I just thought it would be good to make a comment one way or the other for people. Perhaps mentioning how to clean the surface of the head from corrosion to get a good seat for the new seal. Anyone who makes instructional videos for other people is doing a great thing if you ask me 👍

Exactly!!! I’m literally in the process of changing it out and no videos are mentioning how to clean the gasket area or what to apply. I bought a brand new thermostat from autozone and it came with no gasket so I wasn’t sure to use the gasket silicone or buy the gasket mat and cut it out myself!!!

@@MsPabloRms I never did, changed the entire coolant system, water pump, hoses, thermostat. And then got rid of the car. It’s a problem that will drive you crazy. Good luck

Montana Montana yes there’s another sensor in there, be very careful careful on that one if you are removing that plastic reservoir.

So if it’s bad it definitely without question would give a code? I don’t have any codes. Ugh. I still think it’s the thermostat idk what do u think

That transmission thermostat will likely break when removing the expansion tank. Be prepared to replace it.
