Part 4 and final chapter of the greatest comeback in baseball history. Still so absolutely sweet!

I remember Yankee fans saying “You still haven’t won a World Series since 1918”. 😂😂😂

The fact they started playing “new york” right after they lost is comedy

I'm not sure they still do this, but at the time, they would play Frank Sinatra singing when they won and Liza Minelli singing when they lost.

The best time of my sports experience. Unbelievable come back. 😂 and I saw it. I broke down because my late dad was in another place. We had a great time watching this series. THEN THE CURSE WAS REVERSED. 🤬. I WAS THERE. I EXPERIENCED THIS GREAT TIME.

I almost shat myself when Damon got thrown out in the first and Pedro was put in late. Thank god the Sox won this series. New Englands mental health would’ve taken a turn for the worse if they blew this, too.

Worst manager decision ever: Letting Martinez pitch the 7th. The rest of the team held on to spite Francona and Pedro.

Tito had no idea how far Lowe was going to be able to go. If Lowe could only go 2-3 innings, he would have used Wakefield for multiple innings, and Pedro would have started Game 1 of the WS on Saturday. Because Lowe was able to go deeper, he only needed a short bridge to get to the regular late-inning crew of Timlin/Embree/etc. Since it was Pedro's normal side day, having him go an inning didn't disrupt his routine. Remember that the whole bullpen was pretty much gassed at this point. Foulke had thrown 100 pitches over the past 3 days, Arroyo (normally a starter) had pitched the past 2 nights, Myers was just a lefty specialist, Leskanic's shoulder was holding on by a thread at this point, and Mendoza had already been taken off the ALCS roster to add Youkilis to the bench. I totally get what he was trying to do, although I think he underestimated how much the crowd would be brought back into the game by the move.
