Perfect! You just saved me hours of frustration in chasing an intermittent problem....the key was that mine only acted up in the rain! Both speedo and ABS lights

This was my problem also, thanks for making this video, saved me loads of time and money chasing the problem, full of water, first video i watched and it works perfectly now,👍
My ABS and brake light sensor lit up and I was about to change the brake switch behind the brake pedal until I saw this. Saved me $40 and however long it would have taken. Thanks
I love your video! I think this is the problem my husband is having with his 2005 dodge ram truck 5.7 hemi. I just have a question. How hard is it to remove the connector from the ABS module? Do we have to remove the battery first.? We have not even looked under the hood as this just happened. Just wondering how hard it is to pull that connector.
Its not hard to get to, under brake booster. The connector was the hardest thing, the latch is hard to see. Small pick or screw driver will pop it loose
Hey there. So, i have the same truck, yesterday it was fine. We had a heavy rain last night and this morning, my dodge started doing the speedo bounce and abs n brake light. I replaced the rear abs speed sensor. It ran for an hour or so good, but then started doing it again. I noticed, there is also an exact same abs speed sensor located on the front as well. Advanced said they are both the same part for front and rear. Has your dodge still been running fine sense this happened? Looks like its been at least a few months. I was about to attempt the change the front sensor, until i saw your video...
@@flatheadcat78 got ya. I did check it out. Its dry and doesnt seem to have seen any moisture. Though, 1 of all the wire slots is a tiny bit turquoise on the female plug, but still slides into shinny copper. Im starting to suspect its a vac leak at my egr valve/tube. Its crazy that there are so many different remedies for exact signs of other different problems. This one is tricky to solve for me. Speed sensor did not work. It revs high when i start it, and then goes down to normal idol. Speedo bounces even in park. Fun stuff. Thanks for posting your video. Maybe i should do one as well, once i solve the problem. Could help someone else.
04 dodge ram 1500 hemi has the same deal but the speedometer just wont move at all and the a/c wont turn on when the abs and brake light is on, not sure why Chrysler did that but o well just wondering if you had that malfunction too?
I hace a question! I have a dodge ram 2002 3.7 All in the cluster is working! The only thing is not working is the speed it doest move the speed! Just the rpm are moving! I already change the speed sensor the one goes in the transmission and it does not work Dou you think is a fuse? Or what other thing may be the problem? I need help ! Thanks !
Only speed not working, does mileage odometer go up? Can you set cruise control? That would tell me speed sensor in thransmission is sending signal to pcm and bcm. Which would maybe be a gauge failure or maybe bad connection at instrument cluster. Defiantly not a fuse.
352Engineering Everything is working! The only thing is not working is the speed! Do you hace a phone number ! So i can explained to you better! Thanks
Honestly i have no idea. Only trip meter has tenths on my truck. Possile that tenths are staying lit when odometer is selected. We definatly no our dodges wont last 2 million mile😅
