Father of the Year right here. 🍻 my good man. Just picked up an ‘03 Denali for a steal. 225K miles and runs like top. I usually lean towards Ford and Toyota for trucks and SUV’s, but I don’t think I’ve owned a more complete and comfortable suv as this one. Salute!
Cheers! Ive always been a Ford guy myself, my last daily truck was a 1967 Mercury M100 4x4. But ive had all sorts of vehicles including a Kia Sorento. This gmc yukon, despite being rough looking, is hands down the most reliable vehicle ive owned after a year of use.
Awesome brother! I am actually very surprised you have the balls to take on five kids that aren’t yours now that’s Balsey. Not sure I would do it but kudos to you man.
I have a 2001 XL from new and have about 150k miles on it and it still drives and rides like new. Only thing that went out was the ac compressor, struts for rear hatch and glass and now the right side wheel bearing I will fix soon. No plan on geting ridding of it.
Thats awesome to hear. Im at 273,000 miles and i bought it May 2023 with 234,000 miles on it. Its been solid so far. Rusty, little worn inside and out but still cruisin along smooth.
I had a 05 Yukon XL CHAMPAGNE COLOR. Loaded to the hilt. I loved it for such a big suv it floated down the highway. The side view mirrors also fold in if I remember correctly it's been a few years with the square button arrow facing in. Only problem i had and could never get it fixed correctly and stopped all together was the gage cluster. A grocery store big rig delivery 18 wheeler backed into the front of it while it was parked in the parking lot. Had to replace the whole front end hood grill bumper etc and after that the cluster got a mind of it's and the gauges would twitch go back and forth stop halfway. I sent 2 places that specialize in gauge clusters and it wasn't cheap to fix it. Work for a couple and went crazy. After awhile of not knowing how gas i had in it after figuring how much I had when the gauge was at a certain point it went off the wall lol and I got rid of it lol but great truck road trips from Massachusetts to Miami and back few times North Carolina and Canada just had to fill it and go. I miss the beast as we called it 😂
Haha awesome story man. These things are fantastic. I have hit 2 deer in the last few weeks, i am now replacing my front end as well lol. I do not want to get rid of my unit!
As well as the Cadillac Escalade, same 5.3 engine all General Motors Chevy is base, gmc is nicer and Cadillac even nicer interior and small things, but all same vehicle really
I also have the same truck but different color and I agree never getting rid of it not even letting my future kids have it they can get it when I’m dead and they better not sell it or I’ll haunt them😂😂
i HAVE A 2000. 204K MI. THING RUNS LIKE A CHAMP. INTERIOR IS IN MINT CONDITION ALTHOUGH ITS CLOTH INSTEAD. A BUNCH OF RUST OF COURSE. OTHER THAN THAT, SOME MECHANICAL ISSUES DUE TO IT BEING THAT TIME FOR THINGS TO GET REPLACED.
Must have been well maintained. My 04 has problems with .. Ball joints, and tie rods yaya ya. We didn't maintain her well so,now divorced, Its all my problem now. Other wise i think shes a good girl shes nevr gave me really any trouble that I couldnt have prevented with proper maintenance 🤔
They are great units. Im gunna be making another video, been a lot longer than planned but i have some more repairs to do now. Ball joints and tie rods are cheap repairs thankfully! Im about to do those on mine, along with bushings and a cv axle and fuel tank straps. Engine and transmission are cruisin along perfectly thankfully
4 years amazing 2004 🙏🏼 the engine is bullet proof, I got into a crash and they’re steel bumpers come in handy lemme say 😏💪🏻 n Misty is still running like a champ
@@subarutime50895.3 litre GM is way better than 5.6 litre Nissan the 5.3 has been around way longer does NOT have anywhere near GM reliability...there are not too many foreign V8 vehicles that can compete with the GM 5.3/325 V8
