Few things: Only steering wheel wood is real. LL Bean was available in North America. 3.0L is long lasting, but costs more than a 4 cylinder for the same repairs when the time comes. Cargo fan is marketed for venting wet boots and a basket full of fish. This generation is known for premature CV axle and wheel bearing failure. The hood and hatch on most trims were a lightweight aluminum. The 5 speed auto is a treat compared to any Subaru 4EAT. These cars aren't too heavy and have a good aerodynamic rating. Personally, I consider this Peak Legacy in all trims. After this, Subaru got bloated and boring.

I’ve had 3 LL Bean Outbacks here in Ohio. Your’04 looks a lot like my ‘05. I see many differences from my USA versions, for instance, navigation. US models didn’t have that until ‘06. All my Outbacks had the H6 engine and I found out that it’s superior in several ways. The best thing is the H6 uses roller chains instead of timing belts.

Holy shit. It’s the same model and color my mom had when we lived in Japan. Sold it 2009 before moving to California along with a little silver Suzuki.

I had a 2005 3.0R LLbean here in the US. as far as i know ours where also rated at 250 on 93 octane gas. we got harmon kardon as the premium system here in the states later on and at least the LL beans here they got full leather seats instead of the partial leather. Also the US spec legacy's of this gen only ever got either manual climate control or dual; zone automatic climate control, i havent seen a US spec car with single zone automatic climate control. And yes ford did have a Eddie bauer ford explorer, expedition and excursion but not any more. they did also make a harly Davidson edition F-150 for a couple of yeasrs.
