2004 Suburban inner tie rod replacement 

Inner tie rod replacement on this 2004 Suburban. This vehicle uses the old idler setup and upon inspection of the worn tires found this joint to be loose, probably from the broken boot. I used a large adjustable wrench, as I didn't have an open ended wrench this size. Using a 3lb hammer as persuasion the rod was freed. Cleaned and blue thread locker and the new part was installed and tightened. All fitting were greased and the toe adjustment was made using the earlier measurements. He has since purchased new tires and had an alignment.
