Thanks man! I’m doing mine today and this helped before I was going to remove exhaust. You may want to clarify it’s for 2wd not 4x4 as it didn’t have the TC. I’m not sure if either is longer tho
I actually started last night. About to take starter off now then the 4 nuts on the TC, then trans bolts. Your video is super helpful man. I may have questions as I go. Installing a used one back in afterward.
I don’t have it up as high as you but have a 3” lift. I took pan and valve body off to give more clearance. Going to try and wiggle out using regular 1/2 tons Jack and some scrap wood with it ratchet strapped
@@1Wayfix how do you connect the TC back to the flywheel? Just bolt one on then spin thru bottom of trans like you did to remove? Or do you have to manual crank engine over with a socket on crank bolt?
If getting it out seems to be a pain, imagine working against gravity to get it back in! hahaha! You see a lot of "this is how I got it out" videos, but where are the "this is how I worked it back in" videos?
@@1Wayfix I removed my transmission in my 2011 Wrangler (manual) and I was like, "...not bad." But getting that back in? LOL! Being a one-man job, these things will throw us for a loop! Sometimes, having a helper get things lined up is a lot easier.
Watched the entire video GOOD FUCCIN job !!!!🎉🎉 Now I’m not scared to take mines out! U speak very clear English as well!!!! I take my hat off to you 🧢! Also, my question is on my 04 F150 I have a fly wheel that sounds like it is grinding, but will it be my torque converter because Im loosing power I can send you a video?
Thank you. I believe. That sounds. Is not. Come from you flywheel. I think it comes from you starter. When the gear. Get lose. Moves to the flywheel and start making that noise. I think i got a video. Let. Me find it.
This is. The video. First I thought it was the fly wheel. But. End up the starter. Was bad. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nvi_3OToxnQ.html
