me too buddy I still try to with valve luckily d9rn hl2 fans we got modders making incredible and some meh moss more hl2 nonetheless hl2 mmod 1.3 is my favorite I do like that you can use a katana and play waves of enemies in firefight reloaded. lol samurai freeman just made a short of it

I've played pretty much all of these games but the Valve games were something else. I still remember how good Half-Life 2 was and to this day it is still my favorite dystopian world. I tend to revisit different Valve games each year, they're just so good

for me personally the golden age of gaming is like 1997 to 2013, but 2004-2009 specifically defiantly had a ton of bangers tho. counter strike source, half life 2 and its episodes, left 4 dead 2, garrys mod, hl2 deathmatch, sly 2 band of thieves, burnout 3, gta san andreas, gta 4, spongebob movie game, silent hill 4, resident evil 4, portal 1, cod 4, world at war and mw2 are all a big chunk of games that are in my top 10-20 games ever from this very specific time period or number of years in particular. if the list got extended back to 2001, silent hill 2, 3, spongebob battle for bikini bottom and simpsons hit and run would be on this list too

Yeah same, when I was growing up on my PS2 my favourite genre was arcade racers like the old NFS games, FlatOut, Midnight Club, Driver and Burnout! now all these games are gone and only games like NFS and The Crew are holding the arcade racing genre, but the modern NFS titles just aren't as good as the old ones. The state of arcade racers is just very sad :( I guess most people just like realistic or semi-realistic racing games now hence why simulator racing games or semi-realistic simcade racers like Forza and Gran Turismo are dominating and have more sales compared to arcade racers. Also we have to bring in the point that most new generation kids are not getting interested in cars or racing. I'm so bummed out they don't make Burnout anymore because Burnout would be incredible in modern day graphics and tech behind it for some incredible damage modelling.
