I really enjoyed your video, you gave detailed description as it was supposed to been done perfectly thank you so much I'll subscribe and continue to watch your other videos have a great night
17 is for the remote glass opener on the rear door. Mine has it. I had the battery light come on. I went to the automotive store and had it tested, the battery and alternator are fine and working properly, with the truck on and off. I am going to try changing the fuses!
Lehew, got a scenario for you. I have a 06 Grand Cherokee bought it new. The left side power supply has intermittently cut off either when in use charging as soon as a minute after plugging it in or after about an hour or a week. Just don't know when it will stop whatever is plugged in. Never any other electrical issues or even mechanical. About years ago headunit stopped working had one installed and they used the power supply for power and ignition on for head unit. Fast forward to being annoyed by radio going off when it wants to I started to find a way to get power to head unit when ignition is on. Thanks to your video I found out that the power supply is also routed through a relay. I was thinking the relay is bad but was unsure how to replace. But, being that the fuse is on front of panel and the relay is in back of the fuse I used a fuse tap thinking it would bypass the relay. It did not. I then tried multiple fuses including the ignition fuse under hood but as soon as I plugged in fuse radio went on without ignition being on. However , when desperation set in I found fuse that had the metal connections behind the fus. I then added a fuse tap with a 10 fuse to the F5 fuse panel ( 10 amp Red Rr HVAC R/O) and the Jeep gods responded with a yes. It works , left it running, tryed all the electrical buttons everything is working as original including the power supppy going off intermittently. I was wondering wtf is the Rr HVAC R/O? Also could it being a problem in the future? If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Excellent info thank You. Question; I installed a trailer 4 pin harness. Lights don’t work on trailer. I noticed micro relay # 5 & 6 are missing on my under hood fuse relay box. Is that needed in order to have trailer light power?
Thanks for the great video. Which fuse would possibly control the rear camera? Flipper glass fuse would be an option from your key fob or rear push button to open the rear glass on the rear hatch.
Thanks so much for posting this. Very helpful. Shame the fuses down under the steering column are so difficult to get to! Trying to pull a fuse out and insert a new one with my ‘man fingers’ is proving next to impossible! I’ll keep trying. All of my center console backlights have stopped working. Climate, heated seats, toe, pedals and all that. I’m hoping fuse 6 (on left, 2nd row down) is the culprit. Just need to get to it, lol
were you able to figure out if it was the fuse or if the lights burnt out? Mine is having the same issue but I'm pretty sure its the bulbs. Not looking fwd to changing all of that.
I need a ride puller, and I think that you do too. I have them sausage fingers! Lol but I'm gonna get the fuse puller. All of my interior lights are out, not the dash, just the map light and the dome and all the other interior lights went out! My dumb ass used a flat screw driver and touched the points? So my theory is that I shorted the fuse out with the metal driver? If ato be knows? Please let me know. Thanks
Thank you so much. Within the first minute or two... I had my answer. I had a little trouble with my parking lights. Good old RU-vid. And thanks for this video.
Do you know if there is a specific fuse for the door ajar sensors? My driver and passenger front doors are not showing when the door is opened. I feel like it would be odd for both to go out at the same time
My throttle light come on at the same time hot air comes through the A/C (mostly through the defrost vents). Sometimes it stays on continuously other times it cycles on and off, even when I turn off the A/C. I noticed that the headlight switch triggers this problem. And my lights are not as bright when turned on, I have placed a brand new throttle body at the suggestion of a Jeep dealership, but even that has not solved the problem. I have checked all of the fuses and relays associated with these systems with no solution. I was hoping you could give a suggestion. It was suggested by Jeep that a new PCM would fix the throttle light issue, but what about the air coming through the A/C and the lights?
Ihave a 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee OverLander with 5.7 my interior lights keep coming on by them self and staying on till i stop get out and fiddle with the door looks and keyless entry sometimes slamming the doors helps but not always any ideas ???
Does anybody know how ; or where ; the door switch works interior courtesy lights? (All overhead lights turn off/on using the push-switch on each of them) 2006 Commander 3.7 base-trim 4wd
can you advise me where to connect the daytime running lights so that they light up only after starting? or when switching the lights to the auto position
Hey so I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee laredo with a 3.7. It didn't come factory with fog lights. It does have the holes, and pig tail wiring underneath for fog lights but no built in switch for fog lights. Is there a aftermarket kit so I can have fog lights in my jeep?
I enjoyed the video. I have a 2007 Jeep Laredo HEMI and want to find out where the turn signal relay/fuse is? My turn signals are acting abnormally. The left blinker works when the turn signal is put to the right and vise versa. Any advice would help. Thanks
I have the same car my headlight on the left side is not working I replaced the light bulb the fuse looks good it just stop working out of no where can you help me figure this out
Is there any sorta fuse for the alternator on these? I have one with an alternator issue that even a new alternator doesn't seem to be helping and only a brake switch circuit high voltage code
Hello, the steering wheel button controls (radio and on-board computer) and the horn stopped working after the battery was discharged, please tell me how I can get them to work again.
Will it negatively impact the vehicle in any way if you Chance every fuse? I bought mine from someone who didnt care for it at all and there's some real problems with it I'm trying to fix. I'm afraid if i do change all the fuses it will causes either more problems or that it will worsen the already existing ones.
Thanks for the video! Unfortunately my tyre pressure sensors got damaged and removed during my last wheel change at a dodgy workshop which caused the tyre pressure indicator to be permanently on. Hoping that by removing the fuse it will disappear.. Also need to locate the cruise control fuse since it randomly stopped working and the airbag light came on. Help! 😂😂😂
Yeah buddy, I was gonna change my interior lights to con bulbs, I don't know what happened? Maybe I should have unhooked the battery cable bef per trying to change them, I used a small flat screwdriver to take out the old bulb, I think that I blower the fuse? As soon as I touched the bulb end , every light inside quit working! Do you think that I blew the fuse?
Great video thanks, but im trying to get off tpms light indicator and remove the fuse thinking that will work, can u help me how to get off the indicator please? 😁
by watching your video I wanna give credit where credit is due.. my ding dong sound, "courtesy light", n etc was not working and you named it n I went out to check using your video. n boom a 10amp fuse needed to be replaced. thank you
My information center does not light up nor does the little panel with the traction control. I know there are bulbs behind those panels and seems inconceivable that they all burned out so I was hoping there it was a fuse issue.
Dear, I have an 2005 grand cherokee not shifting with code p0731. I replaced the gearbox!!! I replaced the TCM, I checked all the wires from the TCM to the gear box as a continuity and shorted to ground test. What else could be possible causes
