It's a great option if you track your pony on a regular basis. With this setup, you'll experience considerably more braking power and better consistency as you put the brakes under load constantly, like doing laps at a track. Not only that, this kit looks great behind some nice wheels, because it's bigger and beefier than the stock setup for most models. This brake kit is made to fit on any 2005 to 2014 Ford Mustang GT, Bullitt, Boss and GT500 models. Full Solution. This kit comes with everything you need to upgrade the brakes on your Mustang. You get Brembo vented brake rotors measuring 15 inches for the front, and 13.8 inches for the rear. The Brembo front calipers feature a black powder coat finish, plus have six pistons, while the rear calipers have only one each. Direct Install. Since this is the brake kit from a 2013 to 2014 Shelby GT500, it's made to fit on your car without big issues. This isn't a job for first-timers since you'll have to bleed the brakes, plus mount the hardware in place. Have on hand fresh brake fluid, sockets, wrenches, etc. Plan on the job taking you about three hours.
