I just replaced my fuel pump and installed the new one exactly the way it was removed. Now my car wont start. Does the fuel system have to be bleed after installing? I'm really nervous now.................Never mind :).. I replaced the fuel fuse in the wrong socket. All is well and worked out perfectly. Thank you.
need help.... I have this car and the fuel gauge doesn't work, when it hits half way mark then its time to start counting miles. Some other things as well I think it needs spark plugs replacement, transmission fluid change & filter , and my power steering fluid is leaking all this is expensive lol
Probably a little late, so I’ll direct this to newbies here....your fuel float is on the side of the fuel pump. It replaces easily once fuel pump is removed. You can see as this person is installing new pump, how carefully he is with the black appendage connected to a wire on the bottom. Be careful reinstalling pump so not to break new one. Simple simple. Just replace new connections to old connections spots. Take a picture of old float still attached to pump before you start. If I can do it....Anyone can.
