2 more problems this car suffers from: Leaking oil from cover gasket and outer bearing on the kompressor can wear out in low mileage cars. Both of these are easily fixable though, so no big deal. I am in negotiations with a dealer atm to buy one of these beasts; champagne color with black interior. Car is in mint condition with 75k miles on speedometer. Surprisingly, this car is more expensive in USA than here in Norway.
How tall are you for a reference of the 3rd row seats? Btw, thank you for sitting in them, it's hard to find videos of grown people actually using them.
su1ac0 if it can leave you stranded, it’s considered a major reliability issue. I wouldn’t take one of these cars on a cross country road trip if the state of the air struts is unknown
Get rid of the Air susp. & replace with Arnotts and your worries are over. I had the baby brother to this (aka E500 Estate Designo) and that was a special car👍.
I have read so many conflicting numbers on the forums over the years lol, not saying I don’t believe you I’m just curious where you got that number? 💯🙌🏾
@@gtpsuprchrgd03 what color combination do you have? I saw a detailed chart on MBworld or one of those forums that broke down all the wagons and even had more information like interior color exterior color etc and the numbers of each. A few color combinations are very very low production numbers .
Kurrupted Data yeah love the W210 body!!! Some one schooled me that the w210 wagon would actually be a S210 wagon and they were right. I was thinking about getting S210 wagon 4matic to use for snowboarding trips. They are getting harder to find tho in decent condition.
I'm torn between the wagon and the sedan here in the uk they are more or less the same price I like big cars but I do care about handling (we have lots of twisty roads) I guess I'll have to testdrive both in the dry
Augusto Pinochet sedan vs estate they both oversteer easily. The wagon maybe a little easier. Even with sticky tires if it rains even a little the rear wheels still spin from my experience. If they are both roughly the same price I would go for the wagon due to the extra versatility. I personally think the wagon looks better as well.
I would also say this if handling is your thing I would look for a 911 instead. The E55s aren’t the worst handling vehicles but they do leave much to be desired. They are super comfortable tho. GT type car vs sports car I guess.
