LSU’s 2019 receiving core is rightfully recognized as an all time great unit, but this one? Dwayne Bowe, Devery Henderson, Buster Davis, Early Doucet, Brandon Lafell and Skyler Green, this was the unit that helped start that tradition… and don’t even get me started about the defense 💯
Fun LSU fact. 1st time in history of NFL draft a team had QB and 2 WRs drafted 1st round in same draft. russell - bowe and davis. Tigers about to do it again.
I know Miami had lost 31-7 to VaTech in 03, but the canes outgained them and it was classic BeamerBall with 2 unusual scores. Even other losses, the Canes lost close. This? Different story.
This game exposed many underlying problems in the Miami program. Discipline was gone, player development was faltering and coaching was suspect. Coker's seat was hot here and next year it was on fire
Yup, UM was just about even with LSU skills position wise, but the big difference was the trenches, lsu was much bigger and more talented than the u was along the line of scrimmage. Plus playing in a much more difficult conference helped as well.
"A Southern-style Peach Bowl" matchup between Miami (FL) and LSU, but, did the Hurricanes football team win back-to-back Peach Bowls at the old Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA in 2005?

this was a preview to the national title run the following year Miami isn't any good anymore like they were in the old days they were great in their eighties and early nineties but just like Florida State and Nebraska they're really nobody's anymore what the hell happened to their recruiting who knows
Lmao lsu just lost to fsu and finished with ten years what a dumb attempt to put us with Nebraska and Miami fsu has multiple orange bowl wins a natty hiesman winner and multiple conference chips have fun losing to fsu again in 6 months
