@@ChaseRzz Metra has one but I got a screen that replaces that top cubby on the dash, it was on ebay for about 170$ vs the dash kit being nearly 300 not including a screen

Hi I have Mazda 6, 2008 having issue with Car Stereo. It will shut down automatically for 2-3seconds and come back same time. When we are trying to increase the voulme. The voice of spearkers is very wierd. What you advise? If I can replace the whole system. Can it possible. From where we can get the dash board pannel.

That's the thing, you can't. Mazda made it overly complicated but that's how it is. You gotta have a kit like the one jp uses in the video.

When I test fitted mine it did not sit flush. Not so much the metra kit. A little trimming of the inner dash area and it sits nice. I’ll be doing a review on my channel of the dash kit and double din soon

naw you did it right you only need 9wire to the headunit if the radio is going to be powering the speakers. here is a vid i made on how to wire a radio

DUDE! there's also 2 phillips head screws on the bottom that must be taken out before you pull the old unit out.. I almost broke the fucken thing pulling..

Doesn't matter the double din size is the same externally the screen size can be from 6.2 to 7 inches

@@jptheinstallguy I'm sorry bro but that does not look like it fits right it's to deep in and I got this exact same dash kit tell me why my 7' and my 10' with a single din backing does not fit inside it a flush radio is suppose to sit flush with the main bezels of the dash kit and this does not it's almost as if it was made very poorly cause 300$ spent and I can't install my 200$ 7' bc doesn't fit inside the kit and if I install it like u did my volume rocker and buttons will be pushed in and my 10' well that shits way to big anyway lol

@@deveneb8409 I havent messed with it yet, but can you unscrew the radio from the factory dash kit? I seen a vid, n it seemed like itd be something u had to cut off. I saw those mounting plate screw thingys on the side( idk what theyre called lmao) so maybe you can put a headunit using the factory dash?

@@dontknowhatoput2450 actually, yeah you can screw then off, and that might work, the only problem is that I think the brackets have to connect to the dash kit, the way that the stock dash kit does it is with a metal trim, but that trim doesn’t work with a double din stereo
