8th gen civic, upstream located on top of catalytic converter.
Check engine light is on, Code reads as follow:
O2 sensor A/F (air and fuel)
P0420 ( possible catalytic converter )
P2A00
P1172
If you performed the O2 change and after driving for less than 10mins and light still comes on, more than likely you would need to replace the catalytic converter itself, or test for voltage on the wiring harness to which the sensor is connected to, and test the O2 sensor for resistance.
Tools neede:
22mm (7/8) O2 socket
3/8 Breaker bar or pipe
3/8 torque wrench
10mm socket
6mm socket
Small Phillips screwdriver
Anti-Seize lubricant
Torque O2 sensor to 33ft-lbs
