2006-2011 Impala (9th Gen) 3500 & 3900 V6 Tune-Up Part 1: Belt, Tensioner, Air Filter, & TB Cleaning 

Today we begin a 2-part series on how to completely tune up your 9th Generation Impala with either the 3500 (3.5 Liter) or 3900 (3.9 Liter) V6 engine. In this video I will be replacing the air filter, cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor, and removing and replacing both the serpentine belt and the belt tensioner.
The air filter was purchased at AutoZone, the belt and tensioner were from RockAuto. You can purchase throttle body cleaner anywhere, just make sure you buy the CRC MAF Sensor cleaner and only use that for cleaning the MAF (do NOT use throttle body cleaner on the MAF!)
