@@elvincastro9479 No problem at all, thanks for subscribing I really do appreciate it. I would recommend getting some used ones off a wrecked Yaris. The reason I say get used and not new is because a lot of the new ones that are sold on eBay are Chinese knockoffs that you'll end up having more trouble with. If you just find a good you pull and pay salvage yard near you and make sure that you get it off of a true wrecked Yaris (not something that has no body damage because most of the time that means it has a motor issue) pull the injectors off of it and get you some new o-rings from AutoZone and a little bit of Vaseline to help seal the o-rings when you install them and you should be good to go. Just be sure to check the injectors when you pull them and make sure that the tips that spray the fuel look good and clean and not waxy. That was the issue on mine clearly someone had just used cheap fuel for years and the tips that sprayed had tons of wax buildup on them. Good luck on your project!
Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. I would recommend looking on RU-vid for how to check for a vacuum leak. You should find plenty of videos on that :)
Did you take the intake manifold off and clean it while it was out and what about the inlet ports, they have some carbon deposit in there. Just asking since i have a little more buildup then you do.
@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic thanks, is it quite straight forward to replace the O seals as I am not sure if it's my inlet manifold or O seals? Was the hissing sound there before you started messing with your injectors? Do you have a video for changing these Injector seals?
@@patrickchang-leng1073 The injectors are fairly easy to remove. I do not have a video on replacing them just yet. I probably will do one of those in the future. The hissing sound was there before I messed with the injectors or the intake manifold. I ended up just replacing my injectors all together because mine were pretty gummed up. Before you mess with the fuel system be sure to pull the fuel pump relay and try to start the car a few times with the relay pulled. This will depressurize the system so that we take the fuel rail off you won't have pressurized fuel spraying everywhere.
just a quick question about the intake ports on the engine block. the three rectangular ports between the intake ports, what are they meant for as i would like to know what their purpose is .. cheers :)
@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic i can smell vapors from that area on a cold start... also would this gasket(if worn out) cause the valves to make more noise ??
@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic bro, i got the same car and same engine. when i push down the accelerator fast, the rpm suddenly drop for a sec and then it goes back up. the problem occurs everytime whenever i stop still/ waiting for traffic lights then try to accelerate. it make really hard to get out from a junction when it suddenly slowing down. the mechanic told me it has something to do with air leak from the manifold. he suggest changing the manifold. i need your opinion, does it really the manifold or something else?
@@akarendigital I had the same problem and changed the mass air flow sensor and it cured the problem. Good luck and let me know if this fixes your problem.
For this issue I was chasing a misfire code on cylinder #3 P0303. However, in my case it was not the intake gasket that was bad. What I found was that ALL of the injectors in this particular car were in bad shape (#3 being the worst) from bad fuel being ran through them multiple times. This was causing them not to spray the way they should have. Instead of rebuilding them I went to the local u pull junkyard and got a used OEM set that looked much better and this fixed my issue immediately.
