Did you take the intake manifold off and clean it while it was out and what about the inlet ports, they have some carbon deposit in there. Just asking since i have a little more buildup then you do.
You are the man!! Thank you so much. Great teacher. I was able to fix mine within ten minutes after following your clear and easy instructions. RESPECT THE YARIS!
@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic Way ahead of you. I already liked and subscribed. Thanks again. Now may AC should work better since it was stuck on fresh air.
The whole car drives perfect still no issues except my shifter auto , is Stiff and When i was on flat ground it jerked a tiny bit from park to drive but stiff from all other gears , with 81k miles
Followed your instructions to the letter and everything worked out just fine! I did the passenger side. The only recommendation I have is when you put the screws back in don't over tighten. Otherwise thanks for your video I am mechanically challenged and successful!
You are lucky. Mine is stuck in the block. I got it to turn after fussing with it for a while but it is not sliding out. I tried getting a better grip on the solenoid and turning and pulling at the same time but I became concerned that the solenoid was going to break of leaving the rest of the part stuck in the block. My intention was to remove it and clean it really good and then reinstall it but it wouldn't come out. I just put everything back together for now until I can buy a new one to replace it. Then if it breaks I will have a new one to put in and not be stuck without a vehicle. Cheers!
hi! I know this is an old video, but i have an 08 with the bench style seats. i don't necessarily want to remove the entire seat, i just want to make it so that it folds flat. do you think i would accomplish that if I removed only the top (where your back leans against), or if I removed the bottom part and folded the top over? thanks for the video!
Thank you I just saw that empty container on the left and all the tools on the right instantly assumed but that's what I get for assuming I appreciate the video I probably would have bought one.
It does improve the look of the door latches. Makes them look less agricultural and more premium. Like you, I'm not 100% sold on the functionality being real though
I could not find anything about removing a 2007 Acura rear door panel but it is similar to this TL video except no screw behind a rubber plug. This was helpful in removing the electrical connector.
Hi friend i have one problem my honda crv 2014 after i shot down the car stuck on p and doesn't key go out and when i turn the ignition on again the p plinking like the light try to disappear what is this problem i need to solve it
Thanks for doing all this, got my eye on a used Yaris and I want something exactly like what you're building. Something in the same spirit of my 82 vw turbodiesel, a slow and unassuming appearance but wicked handling fun delight to drive fast.
Two tips for yall from my own experience swapping the plugs. 1) Clean the top of the engine (particularly around the plug holes) with compressed air and/or a vacuum cleaner before removing the coils as to not allow debris to fall inside the spark plug hole. Also clean the spark plug well after removing the coil and before removing the plug. 2) dont throw the old plugs immediately in the trash! analyze the plugs for tell tale signs of engine issues and note which plug came from which cylinder! There is a lot of content online that will help you "read" a spark plug and better understand the state of your engine
I'm so happy that I searched for how to remove the door panel as the other video I watched did NOT tell me that the door handle just popped off. Saved me so much time vs messing with the cables.
So if the speedometer quite, rom gauge quit and the odometer is stuck. Does that mean you need a new one? Also back lights don’t turn on. Fuel, temp and warning lights as well as indicator lights on the dash work. It’s like half went bad. Could someone have unplugged something internally to falsify the mileage? Do I just need a whole new one or is there a simple fix I’m missing.
I'd really like to do this but I doubt it will fit with my konig 15x6.5 heliums. I have a 2011 hatch and have stoptech rotors and pads and still found them to be lacking even in everyday use
