2006 Buick LaCrosse Review 

I just bought a 2006 Buick LaCrosse CX. Front end damage but nothing major. Runs great.

I like the Return Full sticker.

For anyone looking into these old buicks, get a fm transmitter for your phone. They're cheap and work great and you don't mess up factory interior.

I drove one of these at Galveston this summer, and i really love the 3800 Series III. it can hold higher gears at about 12-1300 RPM if you're careful, and 20~60 goes by really quickly when you have it floored, everything is really smooth too. My only problem was the front wheel drive. All around great car though.

I'm just about to purchase one, and I'm pretty excited. They ride like a dream, and they can go when you put the peddle down. My only question is; are they decent on gas?

I have one had coolant leak overheated for over hr getting home an engine still runs good

I almost got one of these for my first car but then Carmax tried to add 4 more grand of warranties and coverages to it so my dad rejected. I'm still quite upset about that.

@buickman85 Ya it is a little weak on the low end, but on the interstate, it has plenty of power and still gets about 30mpg.

I have been totally annoyed by trying to find headlight bulbs for this car, and then I found out that the allure CX and the LaCrosse CX are the EXACT SAME CAR. The only difference between the two is that the LCD panel under the speedometer is smaller in the LaCrosse, and the shifter is placed beside you rather than on the steering column as in the Allure. Literally NOTHING else is different between the two cars...if you are an owner of either the LaCrosse of the Allure, keep this in mind.

I'm about to buy this car in two days. I didn't see an auxiliary port which is kinda disappointing but overall seems like a great car

I have an 06 Lacrosse CXS witht he 3.6L engine, ive had a couple of issues with it but it has alot of power.

I just learned that the American named Buick LaCrosse is named the Buick Allure in Canada became the term "Lacrisse" is a pejorative term meaning " masterbater" or another pergorative term in the French Canadian lexicon. It is like "tosser" and/or "wanker" in British pergorative terminoligy. But, I have a line from my nieghbor for his SUV I only saw it from a distance) 310000 SUV., 3.8. I haven't looked at it ever. But it may be my project car for the summer. My neighbor is a good friend and a mechanic and wouldn't f××k me over. He was just in an accident today and needs to make fast decisions. He needed to park it in my back driveway. Are Delco parts close to OEM parts on these Buicks Chevs/3.8? I'm not sure if I'll keep it, but I'd like to fix the ,"cosmetic," repairs then sell it posdibly.Its very, very dark green. It's a good summer car and I need a tank. .

If you change a headlight lamp, God Bless you! The most ignorantly designed headlight in the world....change the battery?....another dumb design. I will never ever ever ever buy american cars again. I'm a native born American by the way and I will never buy a union made car as long as I live. I also have a toyota and a civic. Those are the most dependable and easiest cars in the world to take care of. oh yeah, I changed the headlight lamp but it was a bear. Never again. they want 100bucks2change
