2006 Cadillac STS. No crank No start. 

Thanks watched halfway through it worked...started up in Neutral

I have a V6 and followed these instructions; worked for me.

I did what he did and it started. No more problems so far

I had the same problem a while back with a 2005 srx, I peeked out from under the truck so I could follow the path of some wires going from the battery positive and realized the problem was a bunch of wires coming into contact and They shortcircuit because the insulating plastic had melted due to being very close to the tube that comes out of the engine that ends in the muffler, I insulate each cable and it works

If you put it in neutral it will start up, I have a 05 sts and my battery was bad ( but I changed the starter relay switch and alternator and it started up for a week before I knew it was the battery) now it’s either of those I think it’s the starter (because the battery, alternator, and starter are all connected) but your car needs an alternator for sure and most likely a battery

My 2007 STS won't start...it is doing the same thing, only when switch to accessories mode the information center tells me the car isn't in park 🤷🏿‍♂️ but it's in park🤦🏿‍♂️...I replaced the battery and alternator is only 2 years old...Any idea🤔

I have sts 2007 I self change altinator and bettey weak and I connect jump other vehicle but car not start
