bro i like that you are not worried about getting new cars and still doing it old fashion building and learning about the car and doing it better financially. love the car man 👊🏽
Hey brother, I appreciate that! You nailed it. A lot of times we’re quick to pull the trigger and get a new car that depreciates as soon as u drive off the lot and get stuck in a 4/6 year loan 💸 that we forget there’s a lot of good cars out there, even if they’re a little bit older. Thnx for watching and and thnx for the compliment!
@@ChargerDriven exactly everyone is scared of seeing 100k miles on a car but forget there gonna spend more money on a new car than a rebuilt engine or just regular maintenance for a car you already own
that's the way i try to film anything i do to my car. I try to show EXACTLY what I'm doing, step by step...in this case it was actually a lot easier than i thought! but like u see here, its good to have an extra hand. so good luck and look out for the second part, where I'm going to show how to install the rear coil overs! thanx for watching!
I had these in my 05 300c for like 6 months and i dont recomend them. The 5.7s are too heavy and will destroy the front coilovers. They felt tight at the beggining but then they wen bad. But u cant beat the looks when its lowered all the way down lol😂 nice whip dude love the channel💯🤙🏽
@@juanledesma6418 ummm maybe not for this car in particular bro. Cause the weight of the car is just too much for these coilovers. They’re great if u have a lighter car tho
Maxpeeding rods are good depending on car. I have em on my sc400 had too also do a lot of adjustments on one coil over than the other also kinda annoying but hey 🤷♂️. They still holding up on it for almost 3 years light use then again my car is 3,500 and that charger almost 4,500 lbs so all of that weight for those cheap coilovers too manage so will go bad maybe but worth the price pretty cheap.
I Have always loved this body style the most .. Plus Anything First Generation will be more valuable in the Future ... These cars will be antiques soon ;) 🙏 I picked up my minty 2006 charger for $4500 with super low milage Full of Bullet Holes . Its a Beast 💪 😂
srry bro, been extremely busy at work that i havent had Any time to work on the charger. But I definetly have plans to make more. Hopefully after xmas! thats wen work usually slows down. thanx for your patience bro
I installed the new pcm that I ordered online from the site u showed me but my car is still doing the same thing I installed it exactly how it said in the directions
@@lilninja4212 damn bro that’s no bueno, have you checked your throttle? Try taking the throttle off, clean it as best u can, put it back, and run your car. If it seems to run better, u may need to buy a new throttle
@@lilninja4212 no problem, and while you’re at it, replace ur crankshaft sensor, it’s only around 20$ I didn’t do that, but when I was trying to figure out why my car stalled, I watched a video of some guy that had the same problem, and he said he fixed it by replacing his crankshaft sensor. It’s worth a shot.
How are the struts holding up? I have a 5.7 RT and I need front end struts like tommarow. I want a dependable assembly that's quick and easy to get on.
The coil overs? They’re doing well! I’ve had no problem with them at all. They feel just like the eibach springs I took off. Difference being that I can adjust the height with these coil overs
I had eibach springs on there before, and it rides just the same. But on the MaxpeedingRods coilovers, u have the dampers to soften, or tighten the feel of the car.
Yea I don’t know where that Rick is coming from. My friend believes it’s a exhaust leak, but my car is so low I can’t really look under my car to see where it’s coming from. But one day I’ll get to it
How close is it to stock ride. I have eibach it rides like crap over bumps I’m very pissed off at eibach. They have all of these commercials promoting how good their Springs Ride it’s a lie they ride very bad over bumps And they don’t honor their warranty the customer service is crap they said I was the one that messed it up but I got it done by professional.
Yea most lowering springs are going to feel like that. So no these don’t feel any better than the eibach springs, if I’m being completely honest. Even messing with the dampers, don’t really soften the ride much.
I’ve only done the 2 front ones. And as u can see, they weren’t that difficult to install. What is a bitch, is leveling both sides. That takes a bit of time to do
@@ChargerDriven mine were annoying to install because my front left shock, 15 years old, was stuck fully extended when I was taking it off. Had to pound it out and pry it up until it got away from the link. The rear ones were really quick and simple to do. Haven't dialed them in yet, but I went for a softer front and harder rear.
@@tooslimey9493 brute force and a jack. I think what finally did it was jamming a long bladed screwdriver in and then hammering it out. It was not fun.
After installing then did you have any problems with the axels breaking? I have the same car and bc coils were just installed and axels keep breaking but mechanic said it’s cuz it’s too low but I don’t think that’s the issue
I will put out more content bro! I just been super busy with my regular day job because of the holidays. But as soon as I can, I’m putting out more videos and new mods! Thank u for watching. I appreciate it!
@@Danny510. what u see is all we did. But as far as the camber, I set it to the middle. Its running fine, but I couldn’t really tell a difference wen I adjusted it to different clicks
@@ChargerDriven how do you set it to the middle. The top of mine swivels and I feel that’s where the camber is affected but couldn’t stop it from moving.
It’s all four coil overs. Just how I show in the vid. The front and rear. I just didn’t install the rear ones in this vid. I’m going to upload the rear install later.
Lol you guys do not know how to adjust coilovers, you guys were literally screwing with the spring tension/preload. You notice there is lock nut on the end of the coilover tube, you have to spin that black threaded section to lower the vehicle lol
No we dont my man. im just a dude with a charger, and learning as i go. this is not an "instructional channel" this is just me showing what im doing with me own car. if it helps with what i did right, then good. If not, i hope it helps on what i did wrong, and it shows u what not to do.
fr i busted a hole in my SRT oil pan like 7 years ago shit was insane smoke poured in the cabin and smoke trail behind parked saw the freaking hole crazy
