You are very smart. Most men break first before heading to instructions. Thanks for an awesome video!!!

I stumble across this video. Sadly I got rid of my jeep less then a month ago. I couldn't keep paying for repairs on it. But I literally just sat and watched this whole video because you are a natural and hilarious

I appreciate that. Thank you for watching. It will be hard for my wife to give up Judy, when my daughter starts driving. They've just been through a lot together.

@@FoothillsAdventures I am sure it will be!😂 I hated giving up Janet but once the differential started acting up after I paid thousands to get it fixed I had to part with her. My first jeep but not my last. Have a good and safe rest of the year you and your family 🥰

@@FoothillsAdventuresmine has the factory hitch and tow package but I don’t have the 4 pin harness just the big seven pin. Do I need the adapter or something?

One thing you might have done was to get a good look at the harness on that commander with hitch you were under in the junkyard. Also the third seat can be pulled for the extra cargo space.

I really wanted the factory harness. The harness at the junk yard was so integrated that that it did not places to disconnect at. Which would have been nice. We have pulled the third seat a few times to haul firewood. Thank your watching.

Stumbled across your video. We have a 2006 Limited with the Hemi. We are original owners. We have it lifted 3” and run Baja Boss tires.

@@FoothillsAdventures Its a huge change. Did the pinch weld mod and put the biggest tires that would fit. Still using the stock rims. I think after watching your video I need to look under that 3rd row. its been down for years. 🙂

do you know anything about the red light for the seat belt i have changed front and back buckle harness and still the light is on. I changes the sensor. plus i got it lifted and the spare tire keep saying low when i aired it up and i too have the 2006 jeep commander. just wondering if you have had this problem?
@FoothillsAdventures

No sorry I have not run into the seat belt issue. But you checked what I would have checked. Start the the buckle and work your way backwards. If it not the buckle or the harness I'm not sure.

37:45 I've replaced that panel myself 2 times on my Commander. Unfortunately, It will always break again. Ya can avoid breaking it by entering and exiting the car through the sunroof or rear glass though.

@@FoothillsAdventures Now for the constructive part... Let's design a custom replacement. I'll do a quick search online if someone already did it, if no one did, I'll start looking into a DIY replacement cuz the one I installed last year got shredded by my slithering in and out too.

23:19 Another nugget of pessimistic wisdom.......You'll go on to find pieces of what appears to be tree bark underneath the third row seats for years to come. Like every deep cleaning will yield just as much bark this time as there was last time 🤯 (It collects on top of the back hatch or glass. Evetime you open the back hatch a tiny amount of tree crap falls down into that hidden space to become the next owner's problem)

Yeah , it's worse when your wife hauls a load of firewood back there.

huh? What are you on about, dude? It is a used car...
@KenGroth-ts6ge
@KenGroth-ts6ge 8 месяцев назад
@@MrCveedub it's a jeep patriot you dunce. Theyre garbage, jeep doesn't even make them. Just like what Ford did with the Bronco, and what jeep did with the gladiator.. they sell the idea of a car. Terrible engines. Terrible build quality. But ohhh yes, this is the car for rough n tough n patriotic Americans woo-hoo Like they literally make pos cars because they know so many of their consumers care more about what other people think when they see them in the car, than the actual quality of the car itself. Buying a used patriot is worse than buying a new one. You just bought someone else's problems have fun. Sure, most people will see you and think its cool, for whatever reason, that you drive a "jeep". But anyone with 2 cent of knowledge will look at you and see a dunce who doesn't do 2 minutes of research before spending thousands of dollars worth of his labor on a car. Der der der you drive a jeep patriot *gives pat on back
