They are very good. Don't know who ownes this specific one but is very poorly maintained.

@@derbigpr500 these model years had major interior issues with the dash and door cards. There was a free recall to replace all door cards and dash, but some people didn't get it done

Most likely just intended to do an acceleration without pushing the car, as the change from 2nd to 3rd was very sluggish. I think that's where most of the acceleration time was lost.

Unfortunately he grinded the gears going into 3rd and was trying to fix it up, so that took an extra 1 or 1.5 seconds

@@phillip1604 even with 1 to 1.5 sec in minus this car isn't so fast, I had an accord 2004 with 2.0 gasoline eninge with 156hp and 5 speed automatic gearbox and manage 0-100 in 9.1 sec. I refuse to belive that a normal Lexus IS250 is slower than my accord

In Europe, manual transmission is popular even in luxury cars. It allows braking easier when entering sharp corners.
