you forgot to mention that the small bracket that you said is so hard to get out, has a bolt on it going into the fuse box...came right apart when I removed that bolt
I had this replaced in a shop, now my radio doesn’t work. There is two fuses for the radio when i got it back only One was in there. So i tried to put the second fuse in it blows it immediately. My radio volume and bass and treble ect is stuck on -0
my best bet would be to check all of the fuses for the radio , check that it’s clear of any residue or wires so it doesn’t make contact with anything. I’m not a mechanic just handy , but hopefully you figure it out.
Make sure your bolts are loose all around once you start removing clips jiggle link box down and black plastic up or they will continue to click back ....one at a time.
