this was very helpful, where did you get the fuses from and how much were they? My battery died the other day and I accidentally crossed the cables when I tried to jump it, it was late at night.
did you ever fixed your problem? i did the same thing , accisentally connected the battery backwards and blew a bunch of fuses. wich i replaced. but now my 08 lexus es350 doesnt start the normal way, and all my accessories in the car dont work at all, exdept the alarm system. did you have the same symptoms? which fusible link did you replace to fix it? thank you :)
Hi, I am trying to replace the black fusible link, I removed the bolt at the top but there is a plastic piece holding the old fuse link down. Do you know how I can remove it?

Yes. I brought my car to the dealership because my heat stopped blowing air, it was barely seeping out of the vents. Turns out the fusible link has a short and is the reason why.
