Noe Hernandez um, last year's Talladega races were both sold out.

2005 and 2006 was NASCAR's peak.

He also ran that scheme in the Fall race at Richmond.

Probably blew up that day after being turned around in the stack up from the first caution. Gotta be careful turning engines backwards they do not like that. Only a matter of time til they blow after that in most cases.

He would end up getting it at the other Talladega race in 2006, but we don't talk about that finish.

That's because during a lot of these plate races stupid drivers cause more big wrecks than calmer more drivers with patience

@@austinmora1309 while that is true, I don't see what was wrong with what Vickers did that day. Other than ditching Jeff Gordon. And perhaps making his move too soon.

But now they can make ballsy moves and the racing is more exciting

+SUPEREEVEEMASTER Now they run such a small spoiler that handling is a factor. July 2014 people actually had to lift at Daytona as the run progressed.

I was in 4th grade.

I was a Tenth Grade Sophomore 16 years old when this Actual Thunderstorm arrived interfered when the race postponed May 1, 2006.

Because of this race, my mom felt guilty about having me miss the race because of it being at Talladega. She then said that if a race gets postponed to a Monday, she’ll let me stay home to watch it ONLY if it’s Daytona or Talladega.

I think the biggest reason he's boring is because it's so predictable. He dominated the sport for 5-7 years. That a problem I have with the sport as a whole today is that the same few drivers win week after week. It's not like it used to be...

@@MovieLover1995 There was likely a local news commercial during this race that told the local audience the times of their newscasts. The op gave us those times (maybe just for laughs), which inadvertently takes us to those exact junctures in this video.

I’m personally not a fan of it. But I do like the double file restarts. Makes the racing more intense and exciting.

I would like it without the caution flag being thrown. The caution ruins the races and ruins any sort of pit strategy.
