Thank You Lehew, my 95 dodge ram 2500 quit. I swapped relay(relay ok), then I replaced blown fuse (40amp). It crank for a second and blew fuse again. Will check starter draw. Mark

Thanks for the video, I was driving home last night and my pathfinder suddenly just stalled out, I waited a minute and it started again. I read up on ECM relays going bad so I'll be changing that out.

Take the cover of the relay and Move it by hand instead of a jumper wire

Those white IPDM modules were known to have issues

Hello there… thank you for the awesome video! I have a 2006 Xterra which is practically the same as yours… I placed the key into the “ON” position and then sent 12V direct to the starter input, the same way you did here, and I managed to turn on my car. I also tried bypassing the neutral safety switch by placing gear into Neutral but car won’t start that way. I did have the SMOD (strawberry milkshake of death) where coolant got into my ATF so I wonder if my TCM May have gotten fried and so could that be what won’t allow me to turn on my car? Thank you in advance for any info you’re able to share… I appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏

Hey, can you help me out im diagnosing my frontier i have issues with no crank no start problem the starter is good I’ve tested also have power till the starter relay pin “the center pin” of the starter relay but no power to the starter white cable what should i check on that situation btw ,the other 3 pins from the the relay connect from has ground seems evrything normal to me im going crazy

Hello, good day, will the starter relay be the same on the 2004 Nissan Titan? because my Nissan titan clicks click click click click click and suddenly it turns on I get anywhere I turn it off sometimes it turns on fine and sometimes it turns on again click click click click I've seen other videos and they say to first have the battery checked yes It's okay and if not, then it's the way to go

If my ignition switch was bad on a 300k Pathfinder, could I wire a momentary switch in the cab that went to that tab that starts to truck from the starter relay and bypass Ignition/neutral safety switch? I'm not seeing why I couldn't in an effort to keep this truck going a while longer. I can't find nothing on installing a new ignition (which I think is the issue).

I switched relays - no start. I ran the jumper wire and got the car started. I replaced the relay after and it started. Does that mean the relay was stuck? Should I just replace it?

Thanks for the informative video. I have 2009 frontier. Will not turn over, new starter, good battery. I swapped relays and didn't help. I used jumper wire to the bottom post on the starter relay socket and it started. I drove it to turn it around and it went into drove but stayed in drive for all shifter positions. Do you think it is the neutral safety switch?
