Holy Cow over $1000 for a 2006.....Had no idea that there were so many varieties and finished on this coin.....This is why your videos are so important to us...Thank You!
Great video, I’ve got a huge pile of unsearched pennies in front of me. I need to learn about satin , red, brown, and other finishes. There is so much to look for on pennies period!🥴🥴🥴
Did not realize that this penny had any value or different finishes nor varieties!! Great info and I will be checking mine closely!! Great video!! Thanks J&B!! Keep them coming!!
Thanks guys! Yes, I knew about the satin finish on the sets from, I believe 05-09 maybe goes to 2010? But, i think 09 was the last year of the satin finish. However, I was not aware of the errors to look for, and MS66 is "as you mentioned," a mid grade and finding one nicer would be really nice!!! As always, thanks for the awesome information!
I actually have a 2006 Lincoln penny error, that I found while working for Dollar General years ago. The sheet that the planchet was punched from didn't receive a copper plating, so it's just zinc and has a yellowish tone to it
I did know there are errors and varieties but not the specifics. I did not know about the special satin finish ones. I have a few nice looking Philadelphia mint. I'll be looking in the microscope! Thanks J&B! 👍
Very informative video. I have so many to look out and search through. Even though I haven't been buying in the past year. I'm still looking over what I have here. I'm pretty sure I don't have this one. It was a well presented video. Thanks so much and have a great weekend. ♥
Thanks J&B. I grabbed a handful of pennies (getting tired of getting them all out), and whattya y'know, I found one, lol. It's a 2006 Philadelphia (no mm) and fairly shiny. But seems to have some skin oil (fingerprints) in a couple spots. :( I can't see well enough to tell if there are any errors, but it's kinda cool to find anyway.
I had no idea of the different varieties for the 2006 pennies. I do have a few of the 2006 pennies that I have been keeping due to the high grade. I will definitely check them.
No I did not that there were so many variations. Usually I don’t look so close at the newer one. Wow will be looking closer now. Thank you for the information.
I just pulled up a 2006 P penny in fairly nice condition, I was wondering are there any phone apps that you would recommend for a beginner coin collector to help with determining if it's worth sending in to be graded?
I really didn’t know, a Philly surprise, intent! I can assure you I’ve had more difficulty trying to understand the finishes i find on coins and I need to research more. The pricing is crazy ridiculous again, no idea. I love the rainbow toning on the last photo too. Will listen again, thank you
I don’t see the ear separation in the DDO version, But I do want to DDR easily under magnification. I think it’s easier if you’re lucky enough to find uncirculated rolls, a higher grade of the coin. The money does make it really appealing doesn’t it!
I saw the satin finish I have several but I didn't know whether it was a strike error it's so uniform on the three or four that I have I thought it might be thank you for the information when something is nearly perfectly applied at the mint need I say more
I've had a heads up on the coins because I was fortunate to have obtained your variety error list. Thank you very much!. Now just got to find some Phillies. Get well soon
I have a number of 2006 one cent coins in very good condition , do you want to take a look ? I found them in my parents attic on Ireland with another number of American coins more than 40 yrs old ..do you want to help advise me if any are worth getting graded
I had no idea that all these different attributes and conditions existed on Pennies! I've been learning a lot on your channel. Thank you so much for the great videos. :)
Great Video!! I did not know about the 2006 penny. As I am seeing most years have something about them that's valuable then any coin that looks like it's in very good condition goes in a flip and also looking for any errors too!! Thank you and Have a GREAT Day!!!
Hey Mr J, and Mrs B, thanks for the info on the 2006 pennies. I didn't know about the satin finish or the different varieties. Always a pleasure watching your videos, listening and learning. Thanks soooo much!
I have a 2006 Denver mint penny that has a yellow gold tint to it. There is minimal wear and there is no sign of dying or paint. Are you aware of any minting mishaps that would acount for the odd hue? Who should I talk to or take to, to have it appraised?
Hi, I have found my parents small collection in the attic with some of the coins not seen in over 30 years but also some more recent like the 2006 one cent ... would you like to see the list and advise if I've found some rare coins ?
I did not know that the 2006 Pennies from Philadelphia were so valuable and so beautiful just from pocket change. I also didn't know that there were two varieties. I must get busy looking.
I didn’t know about satin finish or do and ddr although I do have your lists and I’m sure it’s on it. Seems to me though this 2006 would be harder to find than some others. Not gonna stop looking. Thanks J&B
Thanks for the info! I'm new to all of this coin & paper bill collecting. I have some star notes & lots of change I'll be searching!! I am intrested in any lists of yours. How do I get one? Thanks again!! Happy hunting!! 👀
I have 2006 and 2007 lincoln cents where the AM are connected in the word America. The M appears to rise out of the A. Has anyone ran across any of these coins. I found more than two of each coin. I found one where there is a wide AM but all the others appears glued to each other and has that nice finish to them. Please let me know if you have found any.
Aloha J&B! Im still fairly new to the coin collecting game so no, I had no idea there were so many varieties to the 2006 pennies, but as always, I learn something new from you everyday 😊
Just as a side note, you’d be surprised at how many US pennies show up in Canada.. none now, as we don’t use the penny any more..I have quite a few US and I’ll look for the P penny, sure a I have a few in MS state.
I have a 2006 Penny struck in Philadelphia. It's color is not copper, it's silver. I dunno why, can't even remember where I got it but I've been holding on to it.
I have a 2006 Philadelphia Lincoln Penny and i do believe it has 3 errors on it how can i find out for sure? I don't have a magnifying machine so i cant get a close look. You clearly see on the penny 2 possible errors where should i go to find out for sureg

I’m you knowGreat video, with lots of useful information, JBcoins. Would like to pick your brain and see and hear what you know about Woodies. Ive heard a little, but I would like to know if they are collectible and worth money. I might have a few. Thanks, Great Job
Didn't have a clue about varieties on 2006 cents before watching this video. Thought a modern penny was worth a penny. I know I hate detecting modern pennies because they're always in absolutely terrible condition, many unrecognizable as a penny apart from the size.
hi i love to watch youre video by the way i have 2006 D and lower ear is have i think a little bit whole ang the print of the liberty is LIBERT. Y is this error? and the print of AMERICA is close AM.. IS THIS ERROR
