Wow...I never knew there were so many different ones....thank you for the awesome information...maybe I could be a nice sibling and share it with my sister it is her birthday year.😃
I stumbled on this video after spending the evening digging through my grandfathers coin collection. I’d noticed a abundance of 64 dimes and only assumed they were junk silver. Thanks for the info!
I was not aware of all the combinations of 64 dimes! I just found a 63 D in my large water bottle change collection so I will go back thru my inherited constitutional collection for 64s and check them out too! Thanks J& B! 👍

That means it from Philly . was traveling for month fixing CVS store throughout state and I saved all change. Now I out work. So I would like a little help. Thank for the in the video. Subscribed to a few days ago and Ive so much from you already . So thank for that. Oh yeah one of dimes a broken E on one of them. Sorry For asking for your help instead of just appricating your video
Wow--lots of great information here! I would disagree, though, that "you can still find them (1964 dimes) in your change." (1:52) I haven't seen that date in change in many years... 🙂
Quite possibly the best one you've done. Loved the variety portion the most, as it encompassed so many issues. The silver and clad transitional error, along with the pointed 9, was great too. I'll be honest, in most cases I find the high MS grading and values, boring. I know it's where a significant amount of the values come into play, but it's the "in my change " aspect, that fascinates me. Just the thought of what you may find in your change from a coffee, always feels like a treasure hunt. Thanks for this one.
I agree I do enjoy hearing the grades but I can go on NGC or PCGS and look up the highest grades and what they're worth I can't find errors and varieties on there unless they're super popular assuming "cherry pickers guide" ect.
sir i have dallar coin.liberty years 1906 1 dallar 1974 1 dallar 1846 1 dallar 1973 half dallar 2000 1 dallar pluribus unum. in good condition like to buy.
I think what you are seeing are the initials "JS", which are the initials of the man who designed this dime. They are located at the left side of the under the neck area. They are very tiny and hard to see. Try taking a photo of that area with your cell phone and then magnify it by spreading your thumb and fore finger. It will be much easier to see that way
I always learn so much about coins when I come here. It's not only about coin hunting and finding unique coins , which I love, it's about the history of the coins just as much. Thank you!
Wow THANK YOU SO MUCH I found TWO Full bands D 1945 dimes thanks to all of your details in your video! I'm going to send em In and I'll keep in touch to let you know of the outcome!
How do I go about sending my coins out To be graded I’ve got several I think have full bands and several in really great condition and round about how much does it cost
I did not know about the varieties but I know I had something I have some of those varieties but I thought I had to get them attributed it thank you for the info maybe now I can send them off for grading
I have a pointed 9 with full bands. How much does it usually cost to have graded and how do you go about sending it off? I would send it to you instead if you are interested!!
I was clueless about these 64 dimes. Really about all coins. I just started stacking and have about 50 64's, most in fairly nice condition. I'll have to try to look they them.
My father bought a roll of 64 dimes, quarters, nickels and half dollars to commemorate the year I was born. These coins are immaculate and I’ve been told to get them graded but it’s LOTS of money. Any suggestions? Thank you!
J.b. what's popopping? Looking in my fathers coin books that I have for last4 years now. I found extras from 1975 no mintmark.. 65..66..67..68..69..72..76..78..86p.mmark..it's time I start moving on from the coins and sell every in one shot..😢
FGV Gravity, there is no fixed price or fixed value on any coin. Everything depends on the condition of the coin and its grade otherwise it is only its face value. Can you send me pictures of your 1947 One Dime.

Hi,I have 3 sms 64 dimes in uncirculated condition. No mint mark and on one the words in and we is visible but not raised. I believe it is a dye punch error. They are also pointy 9. I need to get graded but its so expensive. Do you think its worth it?
Ok I have Few 1964 Silver Dimes. What Is So Special About This 1964 Dimes. I am Staring To Make My Own Collection After Watching Hundreds Of Different Collector And Dealers Channels. This Dimes Have Strucks Not equal. Any Advice will Be Appreciated.. For Example a 1969 Ddo Struck
I found a 63 piece set of Nickles from 57 to 2013. Guy never opened the rolls and when I did for photos to my surprise they are all proof never touched by hand!! Problem is where I live no market for it and I don’t have enough money to slab and grade all of them myslef. So I talked to a broker and casually I said I’d like to get a small cheap boat. He said boat bud get you a small yacht! Is this guy for real!! Pls let me know dm me I’ll send y’all pics
J & B nothing to do with this dime. I have a 1968 D silver Kennedy half dollar that's never been out of it's protective cover, it has no scaring, dings or any kind of eye sore, not even a proof I looked on ebay and they had them on there for only a couple of dollars, but I was told on RU-vid it's worth 5,000 why is it on ebay for 2.00 ?
I found a 1964 dime and I'm totally at a loss about it because it is very worn. Can you help give me an idea what I found. I don't have a scale but this is very light.
I enjoyed your video very much. I am sorting a ton of dimes by year so I can search for errors and valuable dimes. I suspected there is more to find in dimes than simple silver dimes which are relatively easy to find. And my extreme nearsightedness is very useful looking at dimes! Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful to us newbies!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am new at coins but did buy a scall that weighs in grams. I found one dime that weighed 2.67 grams and another that weighs 2.26 grams. The rest of my dimes weighs about 2.5 grams. Is there a place that I can take them so I can get a better understanding of the value?
I have 183 1964 dimes and a bunch of other coins that date from 1964 and earlier that belonged to my dad and I have been holding on to them because I know very little about coins and I am afraid that if I take them to a dealer there might be some really valuable coins in there that I will not get full value for since I would not know. I have an entire box full, very heavy. I could certainly use the money if there are any valuable coins in this box. Does any one with coin experience know what I should do not to get ripped off?
When u want top $’s u need them graded: in my situation “I would” insurance what you ship. Record of each coin: pic of each coin you want ship for sale.
If I do put it up,on ebay it will get sticker, but I'll settle out of court now for close to $8000, but Ill,if I'm wright it will bring more,I'm going to send you a close picture so you can see if I'm wright
