Is it possible to repair the old button (little silvery thing with the little black dot/button). I have the top and button part of the thing, but when I place the top part on the bottom part nothing happens. Is there something I forget?

Hi, thank you for your comment, unfortunately I simply replaced the buttons to do the repair, I did not take note of what componments are what, sorry about that
Very helpful.. I think this is the problem I have with my remote as I have replace the battery and its contacts look good but still not working. From where do you get the replacement buttons ? Thanks
Hi there I think my key just needs the battery replaced but the screw head is threaded and can't open it. Do you have any tips on how else to open the key fob?
@@ElectronicStuff i've ordered a replacement key/fob. Just need to get it cut, then can pry open up the old one, take out the immobiliser and put it in the new key.
