@@BestCarFixes thanks. It had an issue few years ago where the car would not start, had to jump start it and the steering lock would fail. We removed something in the column and pushed in a button to keep it depressed, since then the car has no issues starting. I think this may be the cause of the failure for immo? I also did bcm scan and it had immo errors and such, i cleared all codes then tried again and failed

The yes but in some option you dont need that

if the bcm is bad you have to replace it and program it

Got you, but what I am wandering, can that computer you have program it? I am trying to avoid the dealer. Zero trust towards dealers.

Yes it hapened to me check fuses under the driver side dash

@@BestCarFixes before i replace bcm, i will try unplugging the steering lock and plug it in very hard and also chan ge the fuse and or the smart key slot

@@BestCarFixes not not. I’m about to in a bit. I replaced the steering lock but it won’t unlock when I try to use im698 to unlock it, it fail. But I replaced fuses for steering lock and battery electric in passenger fuse for prox slot. I’ll try it shortly brother, thank you for all these videos and information

@@BestCarFixes i get a nissan altima maxima escl emulator and when i plug it in it is green meaning it is unlocked. But i still cannot program keys to the car...I think i need to replace bcm now, that is only thing i dont try yet. I replace steering lock 2 times, i replace fuses, i replace the prox key slot and no programming...can i program bcm if i buy used one with autel im508?

you dont need to change a vin number on the bcm only on ecm
