Same issue years ago, bcm gets completely wet and you start having electrical issues. Just take bcm out and open it up and let it dry out. Use electronic parts cleaner to spray the board inside as there will be corrosion also spray all the pins where it plugs in and once dry reinstall and your good to go. Make sure to use automotive silicone all over that rubber boot behind the battery as that is where the water is coming in.

thnx for this info. i need to replace my 2009 fx35 DIFFERENTIAL BUSHING. Do you know what AFTER MARKET bushing i can use?, Sorry u live so far.
Woooow I stumbled across this video, watched it, came to the comments, AND WE ALL ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH G35/37’s 😂😂 I’m having this same exact f’n problem wit my g37 and it drives me nuts everytime it rains! I’m trying to fix it myself and everytime one fix works, it happens again on the next side…
@@brothadutch8116 it’s the sunroof drains. The end of the drains on the firewall of the car (behind the vents) get full of dirt n debris and clogs up. Then when it rains the tube of the drain fills up until it reaches the top then seeps into the sides of the sunroof then goes down the A pillars til the water finds it way all the way to the floor, soaking any electric connections in its way. The BCM on the passenger side can get affected, fuses and ecu on driver side can also get wet too. What I did was just take off A pillar, cut the drain tube midway, got a long thin pipe cleaner brush and made sure it was long enuff to reach the grommet on the firewall and cleaned it as much I can. U can make a coupling or use good strong tape to repair the cut tube. It’s a cheap shortcut but it worked for me & saved me time from taking it all apart. And if it happens again, I just remove the tape & repeat the process
@@brothadutch8116as for the electrical repairs or dash lights, I have no answers for that. I’m currently dealing with my BCM not working and dash lights on prolly because of the drain leak I use to have. Back to the drawing boards, this damn g37
wish you were in my area. my g37 is going thru it right now. car shuts off but everything stays on ,even lights and ac comes on high. now car wont start and abs lights are on.
I have the same issue with this water in the battery area(not inside of car) filling up the idpm & the key light pops up reading that the key isn’t in the car when it is. I drained the battery area about 1 month ago and when it rained again I had the same problem. Trying to find a permanent fix
Well sure enough I installed a subwoofer and ran my 12v power wire through that rubber grommet on the firewall right above the BCM. I noticed water coming in when it would rain and now months later none of my interior lights work and room lamp fuse 10A keeps blowing
I AM GLAD YOU FOUND A CAR LIKE MINE WITH SAME ISSUE I HAVE AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH MY (SAME CAR) FLICKERING LIGHTS CAR NOT CHARGING PROPERLY/ PROPER VOLTAGE RANDOM CODES ETC. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
@@Er7ck_Sstill not starting on? Had found the issue on my car. Removed bcm and cleaned it. Plugged it back in and heard some sparks coming for it 😂 car won’t turn on due to security light. Disconnected battery and connected back a couple of times and it’s back up and running. Will need a BCM for sure cause the door won’t unlock, windows not going down and interior dome light not working
Same thing happened to me today. It died on me at the carwash. They closed so had ti Leave the car there over right. Hopefully it dries out and starts in the morning
