Say what you want about dorman but alot of their products are lifesavers, they make products that no one else makes and they often find factory parts that have issues and they redesign them to correct those issues.

Thanks Rich I'll have to take a look at my 2013 Tahoe having trouble with my tail lights and brake lights. Replaced all the bulbs and still have trouble.

Pure genius, lets mount electronics where the salt is at its highest concentration. 🙄. Just a tip I learned from Erik O at SMA yesterday, check those upper shock mounts before it wont start. 😉.
So I have been trying to educate and inform you guys that Dorman is using me and other creators like me to implement and make suggestion on changes to make things better for the automotive industry and I would expect you guys to respect that and look to the enlightenment of the fact that they are trying to work with people like me and they're taking our constructive criticism in doing so and making the products better I would dearly appreciate the commentary in the negative fashion to be kept at a minimum and keep a watch out for products getting better and not talk so badly about something before asking more questions on why, I hope you guys have a great night and please let's do better
@Ford Boss Me first I've heard of it, all I know is Southmain Auto has been very critical of them!! Not to mention out of every 3 parts I buy from Dorman 2 don't work!

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra. I've been having issues with the tail lights/brake lights. I'll have to see if the truck is equipped with the same setup. It's good to see that Dorman is making an effort to improve their products by partnering with well known techs in the industry. I'm sure that if you see a component needing improvement you will give them honest feedback.

Does the RV trailer harness connect to this module? I replaced the 7 way plug on my 2011 Silverado a few months ago, and the last time I was pulling a trailer the trailer brake lights would stay on, I unplugged the light cord and plugged back in, the brake lights worked ok.

My best dorman win is the ptu on ford edge i got the dorman for like 800 through advance auto turns out it was a oem ford unit with the ford logo ground off lol 😊
Damn not much more life left in that truck. It’s a shame what vehicles cost these days and salty road kills them way before their time. Our rust problem in south Texas isn’t nowhere near that bad.
