Βαγγέλη φίλε μου αυτό που κάνω με το αυτοκίνητο μου είναι κάτι που μ' αρέσει ιδιαίτερα, και όπως βλέπεις το κάνω με πάθος αλλά και με πολύ μεράκι. Υπάρχουν ακόμη πολλά πράγματα που έχουν απομείνει ή ακόμη δεν τα γνωρίζω καλά, μιας και ένα αυτοκίνητο έχει πολλά συστήματα αλλά και εξαρτήματα. Επίσης κάποια διαφορετικά μοντέλα της Toyota ταιριάζουν μεταξύ τους ή λειτουργούν με τον ίδιο τρόπο (ως ένα βαθμό βέβαια).

I think this replacement on the 2004 Corolla is easier and simpler than on my own Corolla. By the way you know I am diabetic and it is extremely dangerous for my health to work under the car. I may suddenly lose my strength and pass out.

Removal engine coolant temperature sensor: 1. Remove engine cover 2. Drain engine coolant 3. Remove air cleaner cap with hose 4. Remove air cleaner cap case 5. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor: (a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector. (b) Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket. You can do a test to check the operating status of this sensor, using boiled water by dipping the tip of the sensor in hot water, as below: 1. Inspect engine coolant temperature sensor (a) Measure the resistance. (1 ) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals. Standard Resistance: Tester connection Condition Specified condition 1 - 2 20 °C (68 °F) 2.32 to 2.59 kΩ 1 - 2 80 °C (176 °F) 0.310 to 0.326 kΩ Notice: When checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in the water, keep the terminals dry. After the check, wipe the sensor dry. If the resistance is not asspecified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
