This video saved me, big time! I went out on a limb and bought a new control switch, hoping that would fix the problem, and it did! Had to buy a whole socket set just for the four little bolts that hold the radio on, but it's something I should have bought years ago, so I guess everything happens for a reason. 😂 Btw, y'all. Make sure you have a magnet in case your socket set isn't magnetic, like mine isn't. Had to stick the bolts on the end of the magnet, and use that to start the threading, then use the socket to finish tightening the bolts. Not the most graceful process, but it got the job done!
Thank you very much for your video I appreciate you I am not a mechanic and I was just able to switch my temperature control in my car with my wife's help thank you so much
I love the way this corolla creaks like counterfeit Lego. I have 1 blown bulb in my control panel, but that's an awful lot of work for tiny gain. Thanks for the informative video.
Thank you, all your videos are interesting and useful👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I want to help you, in My corolla has the lights running in the Air Conditioning Unit Which is in the middle only, while the rest of the lights (For example, the temperature control...) do not works when the headlights are turned on at night

Another great video ! Thank You ! I have problem with falling cord at air flow direction control knob. This knob is hard to turn, and sometimes the cord is sliding out of the mount. I think the problem could be somewhere near air fan. Also when i am turning on a internal air circulation - something is grinding near this fan. Could You please give a film how to repair it or how to get to other end of this cord ?
@@agampodipasindumangaladezo5547 I'm not sure dude to answer you. You should contact your Toyota dealer. What is certain is that this conversion, if it can be done (with genuine Toyota parts), will cost you a lot of money. Think about it.
I have a 2010 Corolla and the vent next to the windshield that blows the defroster is not coming out any air. Whenever I switch the setting to defrost mode, all I’m getting is air blowing from the front vent that blows directly to you. I already taken the front dash out and see if the wiring is still wired around the turning knob and it is still good. I’m not sure what the problem is. My guess is the blend door actuator is no longer good. Would you have any idea what the problem is?
I just damaged the temperature control knob. I hit in a fit of rage and it's now pushed inward. Is that fixable or would I have to replace the whole assembly?
You must first completely disassemble it to see what internal damage has been done (if anything is broken) and of course if possible repair it without replacing it.
I turned the air direction knob in my 2009 Toyota Corolla and it did not want to turn. I used more force, and something gave, Now the air flow is stuck in one position (the knob doesn't do anything now.). From this video, I can't tell if cables control this or if it is vacuum controlled. Did a pin or clip holding a cable break. Trying to find out before I crack into it.
@@christiandaniel8400 The control wire came out of the dial, pretty simple to fix. However, the dial still sticks and does not want to turn from time to time, and then a few minutes later, it turns. I've learned to be patient with it.
Very educative Kindly enlighten me if it's possible to change: 1. instrument cluster without tachometer with one that has 2. Manual climate controls to digital one for a Toyota Corolla 2010. Thanks!
There are several things that can cause electrical problems for your car's air conditioning. These can include failed switches, a blown fuse, a problem with the control module or something else. Fuses can short out and make the A/C stop working or a loose connection can create an electrical short that is easily fixed.
@@josegutierrez7876 Inspect Blower Motor Resistor of the A/C system. Disconnect the connector from the blower resistor and measure the resistance with a polymeter. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the blower resistor.
