I been wanting one those cars since it came out 06 07 type s in that Pepsi cola color back in 06 they were going for 30k brand new I was only 18 at the time 😂 but man I wanted one saw one at a honda dealership but now they are all used and abused high mileage sadly. This one doesn't sound too bad.
TL owner here. Still worth it to own. Plenty of low mileage examples out there. Anything under 150k or so is still got good life in them. Repairs easy to diy and nothing too red flag about them.
I got one with over 200,000miles (310,000km) and I’ve been driving it for a year and it’s super reliable just keep up on maintenance and for the 04-06 models take extra care of the auto transmission
the ultra quiet is only really quiet down low we had 2 on a true straight pipe RT just the 2 ultra quiets it was rumbly and low just crusing but hitting the gas it would open up the mufflers are straight through
This was awesome! Im about to get a custom exhaust done for my TLX V6 with a RV6 J-pipe, 2 Ultra Quiet Resonators and 2 mufflers of some sort(any recommendations?? :) ) Do you think this would be too reasonably quiet while still sounding pretty good?
Why is he trying to drive an Automatic like a manual though? 🤣 Explains why most the automatics in TLs slip , they have a 5-spd manual base and a 6-Spd manual Type S. No need to destroy the transmission for sound
You don't need 3 inch pipe for a low hp v6. Rule of thumb is 1 inch per 100 hp in lower hp engines. He isn't making 300 hp. Nowhere near that. You need flow, and a 3 inch pipe would hurt performance.
After all the mileage it has, it likely doesn't make that stock power figure anymore. If this dork owner got his TMPS fixed, we would know the true mileage. @@antoinegarage
These Jseries sound good with 2.5 piping .. if you're going full bolt get a single 3inch exit exhaust .. if not it'll sound like any other riced out fart can
It's a mad Hoover vacuum coming!! And that trunk has got to go! The trunk just looks so misplaced - carbon hoods are ok but this trunk with it wrapping down the back doesn't look right.
