Informative video that each rider experiences , Suzuki dropped the ball placing the rectifier near heat sources , compared for example the 2000 Suzuki GSX R750 the rectifier is located the rear tail section away from heat sources ... periodical checks on the charging system has become a normal practice .. thumbs up !
Thanks man, was looking for someone to verify the two lines on the back of the regulater/rectifier showing it was bad. Mine just went out and had read all the forums on it being a common problem on the 07 750s but couldn't find anyone talking about what it looked like if it was fried. Turns out mine has the two lines, ordered a new one and a relocation kit today.
Bro sounds like my story. Thought I had to sell my bike due to electric issues. All they told me was battery battery. Rectifier is crucially it. I still have OEM rectifier on my 2006 GSXR750. Need a new one no doubt. Hope it solves it. Hardest thing ever is getting the bike home when the battery can’t even jump anymore. Had to haul my bike uphill for a mile.
Thanks for the tip sir. Really appreciate it. I've been soubting the giixer duevto the foregoing issue of the rectifier thing. Now im convinced go for giixer 750
Thank you for the f1 light information! I've had that light on for a year now. Nothing is wrong with the bike either. But i won't put my rectifier in an incased plastic box under a 5 gallon gas tank with plastic and rubber fuel lines! I know it stays cool while driving, but sit in traffic for 20 minutes in 90 degree heat! You're asking for trouble! I moved mine to the side, with zip ties to the frame. I also plan on bringing a rectifier and stator with me on any future bike ride more than 100 miles. Just need to find a storage room for it! Thank you for your video bud! You earned a subscription!
The plastic gears in the servo motor in the tail part of your bike are stripped, controlling your set valve. You need to do a set valve delete. That’s what’s throwing your F1 code. It has nothing to do with how you start up the bike. That is a bad rectifier tho, good job getting it fixed and I’d be careful with that relocation.
DankyDanko I have an 07 Gsxr750 my rectifier has those two lines in the backside. But I haven’t had any issues. Those two lines in the back means it’s bad?
Don't know if u kno this, Suzuki had a recall for that part... i replaced my battery and it started right up, next day i was flushing out the coolant and went to start it and... making noises like the battery was dying... it's definitely that part.
@@CimotaTJ I took it to a gurage and they replaced it, I guess if u wanted to do it yourself you could contact them and they'd probably send it to you.
Good vid! Have a k4 gsxr 750. My issue is all my lights flicker lightly. Headlights, tachometer, tail lights While the bike is on idle. When I rev the lights dim. I checked the charge while on idle its 13.4V when i rev drops down to 12.5 or so.. What could be causing this? Thanks
Got a question bud. My gsxr 600 is running hot when parked . I changed out the thermostat and flushed and fill new coolant. There's no more air bubbles and it's still gets hot when parked. Why people say it is my rectifier?
I have a problem with Yamaha yzf600 I was riding to downtown Houston which is about 30 min., once I was coming back home I lost power along with engine making a weird noise and until bike dies and it started with a couple a cranks and with still loss of power
Mine having issues but it's 09zx6r,, my dash start to shut off and lost power, fuel cut out and died,, don't know if it's stator or maybe I'm thinking I can getaway with just switching the rectifier
I have question. I have K8 gsxr 750 and notice problem on high rpm where i get choke when bike is hot ( its cut power ) and my headlight kinda flash a bit, its hardy noticed. Can a choke at high rpm be simbols of rectifier or i need to surch for problem somewhere else?
By starting and shutting off the bike in the steps shown, is it going to keep the FI light off even if there's a problem? Cause if it keeps the FI light off, how do you know if there's an issue with the bike?
Hey guys my bike is having a problem and I dont know what's wrong with it? The dash flickers all the flights and the rpm gauge goes up and down and I dont know why? I just changed the rectifier today and that wasn't it!! I have a video of what it's doing on my channel.
@@feta8939 check your stator also & your ecu manly pin 7 and pin2..I had the same problem my rectifier went out..I replaced the stator and relocated the rectifier and it happened again.. and the cause was both pins 14 and pin 2 on the ecu corroded in the harness..I had to replace the ecu then the problem was solved
