In this video, I give a tour of a 2007 Honda Civic EX (8th generation) sedan. There are better reviews of this car already out there, better than what I have put together here. This is my simple take on a simple car
I have a 2007 honda civic identical to the one in your video and I love mine , the gas mileage is super good , the car handles like a dream in all climates and it's a peppy little 4 cylinder .
@@hamzalasquale Honestly the Honda Civic is a good car but can’t catch up to my 2008 Ford Focus with a Fsworks cold air intake, Fsworks Turbo and Forscan crackle & pop tune , but the Honda is a much better made car that’ll last a lot longer
Excellent overview. The 8th gen Civics were very well built with solid reliability ratings. My 10th gen (2018) Civic EXT is an improvement over the 8th gen in performance, handling, passenger legroom, and trunk size. My only complaint with my Civic is the electronic parking brake vs. the traditional handbrake. I use the electronic parking brake all the time and I’ll bet it won’t have the longevity of the traditional handbrake. I’m averaging 33.2 mpg combined city/highway after 101,300 miles. I hope to get at least 300k miles without any major repairs. That’s a big aspiration considering I have the turbo model.🙏 The 9th gen Civics are weak compared to the 8th and 10th gen models.
This is an EX for sure. I have same car, 5-sp manual. Headlight does get foggy Wheel bearings will go out, make sure to change and torque correctly. Mine has 240k miles and still running great!
Thanks for letting me know, in hindsight I should have ran the VIN! I'll change the video title. I bet it's pretty snappy with the 5 speed, they are so much more fun to drive
Check with NTSH if the driver and passenger airbag have been replace. There is a recall on the Takeda air bag. Honda will replace it for free. I also have the manual as well.
I have the same car in blue but the paint have seen better days lol. Mine has 145K mi and its still drives like new, no shaking or clacking. I love these 8th generation Hondas.
I have this exact same car but an 06 model but obviously nothings different lol. The only bad thing is that the top of my steering wheel is peeling off and the rubber insulation on the passenger back door keeps coming off for some reason 🤔 but other than that I love this car it’s amazing 😌
I’m about to go look at a 2006 Civic tomorrow with only 69K on the odometer! This really helps know what to expect when I finally make my purchase. Thanks!
I just bought a 2006 lx Coupe 186 thousand miles on it I've driven it too 201 thousand miles I replace a few hoses a starter upper control arms radiator and water pump therm and struts... all original all needed changed... Rad had a crack in plastic neck, and was beginning to smell the sweet smell of a problem lol anti freeze leaks common prob over time pressure on plastic not good coolant leaks lead to my engine started to run Halo higher than it should immediately parked it to diagnose issue.. Pressure test told me... Put performance radiator in and replaced fuel and air filters.. this little car is running very well
Ex was top of the line back in the 8th gen. The other option was Ex with nav could be consider higher even tho it's still considered a Ex. Great car tho.
@@hanshanslfc8788 1. AC blows air as cold as Siberia (both thermostat and fan speed at lowest setting.) and Decent hot air too after 10mins. 2. I use my car as daily driver for work (75mi - 80mi total for 2 weeks.) I still have like 6-8 bars worth of gas which is plenty for maybe 3 or 4 days of travel for work (29.6 mi total.) 3. Engine Sounds nice inside, but outside sounds meh. Lmao! Speakers are good too. My car is a stock 08 Civic Ex-S Coupe model. :)
tengo uno igual y e visto miles iguales haha , como puedo saber que tipo es el mio ? IS , LX , ETC. , el mio es automatico , 4 puertas , vidrios electricos
