Early 8th generation Civic Coupes with that steep rake in the windshield the industry-leading fender to Tire Gap the design of this car is amazing and it handles as good as it looks... the SI Coupe from the 8th generation had class-leading handling right out of the box
Mate, I'm 17, getting my first car, and it's the same model. Your video has shown what I'm getting. My car has had it engine replaced. The original one had 90k miles on it then they swapped it put for a engine with 25k on it. Thanks for the walk through! 👋
Amazing video! Literally I don't understand anything about mechanics and this channel has been something that can be utilized for people who don't understand anything about mechanics who are just wanting to find a simple yet educational video!
I appreciate the comment! This is exactly why I made this channel. To give something different to car enthusiasts and give good insightful content to people who are not very mechanically inclined. This channel welcomes anyone who’s looking for videos to enjoy or learn from
The LX package offered a lot of features got the 16s with it the dx had 15s...all trims had same 1.8 na 140hp 128lb ft torque.. an 06 LX manual Coupe can hit 60 in 7.7 seconds stock
@@Specmauto it has one of my favorite Interiors even to this day the two-tier Dash looks amazing especially at night yeah the LX and ex weren't that diff sunroof and temp gauge better sound system which I got aftermarket anyways I put some different wheels on it too..
My wiper arms looked exactly the same, they remove easy and you can hit with some fine sandpaper and easily respray with flat black. $10- of materials and looks a world better.
Thats a super great deal excellent find. Make sure it doesn’t have the cracked engine block recall on the vin. If it’s clear then go all in and don’t stop. Especially these days with the Gas prices and demand for reliable used cars that are fuel efficient
I have an 08 ex coupe automatic, and you can open up a few MPGs by just replacing the engine air filter. Plus, if you're into cars, it'll give you that little bit of induction whistle. Overall a fantastic car.
I bought the car with 115k miles on it for 5k. But did have to spend another 1000 on another engine because of the crack in the block. Other than that, it is by far the most reliable vehicle I've had. Before the civic, I had a 1996 2 door tahoe stock. It took my entire paycheck to fill it up.
The 8th generation coups in the 8th generation The Coop was differentiated more than ever from its four-door counterpart different than ever before in this generation but they are the same from the a-pillar up..... but from the a-pillar back this is when Honda made the coupe look sexy and distinguish itself from the four-door not only is it more powerful than the previous 2005 model it's lighter lower wider with a stronger frame and it has all new sheet metal for this year along with an all-new engine the r18 which is one hell of an impressive little motor that most people forget about it's capable of handling up to 300 horsepower with stock internals
Hey man nice video. We just purchased and 2010 coupe and I the ride quality to be quite bumpy. Does this car have the same issue and nice and soft over bumps
2010 and 2011 models shouldn’t have that issue. I own a 2010 civic sedan with over 262,000 miles on the original engine and transmission and all is fine. If anything very very little of the late models had the engine block problem. They had it all pretty much sorted out by 2009-2010
The car in my video is an LX. Typically EX and higher get split fold seats. Unless someone optioned out the split seats in the LX when it was new or a previous owner swapped them in.
It fits okay. Like shown in the video the back end of the mat curves up a bit though because the coupe has a slightly shorter rear floor than the sedan
