My 2007 Honda Shadow 750 was due for an oil change. Here is a video of how to do it. All I needed was a drain pan and a 17 mm wrench! Not Too Bad!! Thanks for watching.
Man am I glad I found this video. I was worried I didn't have the tools to change the oil in my bike, but now I know I just need a couple more quarts. Lol. Thanks, man, this was a great, simple, easy to follow video.
I find it easier to vent the crank by removing the dip stick first then proceed with the filter and then the crank case. That way it vents. Then as it's dripping out the last bit grab a bite to eat and 2 beers later it's normally done dripping and then I put on the new filter and crush washer then add no more than 2.6 quarts of oil. I add 2 quarts first start the bike let it sit for 5 minutes then add in the rest. Great video regardless. I like the raw natural video vs the fancy intros
Nice work, very efficient. Currently working on my bike now. I have to buy an oil filter wrench. The previous owner must have never changed it or put recent one way too tight. Please guys oil filters do not need to be hulk tightened. Doing plugs and wires next.
@@doingstuffwithdylan4367 after some shopping and elbow grease, I finally got it off. It was in fact the original factory filter. Read Honda OEM parts. 16337 Miles, a little sea foam goes a long way.

Good Job! Now I do it professionally so I don’t always get that rewarding feeling. It does feel good to fix your own stuff and save yourself money! Thanks again for commenting and good luck in the future!!
Why would you start with the filter? And why put the new one on before you drain the oil? Just askin' you do you, but total opposite how everyone else does it.
