left out most important stuff,bearing and stop removal

Wonder why driving the outer race mostly into place First to minimize the pounding effect across the taper roller bearing ? Might that not also minimize chance of oil seal getting somehow damaged ? I am getting ready to fix one for someone who told me they have had their “fixed “ 4 times already and everytime the race has been cut / broken at the out edge of the roller. It’s only off and the outer race 80% width I pulled from the tube the 20% piece is behind the bearing and flange waiting for me to dissassemble. Have not checked yet to see if the taper roller new may not be disassembled it’s still in box for me to see tomorrow …. Just asking

I just did this. Bad bearing. Not leaking at all. After I replaced it, fluid is leaking out like crazy.

You didn’t use a press to put bearings in axles?

This is the exact video I needed how to reassemble it I gad to redo my seal cause the ring broke when was reinstalling

ive done this exactly how you did it. but every time i do it my shaft has a wobble to it. weather it be minor or major. its different everytime

What's the nut torque on the bracket nuts there's 4 nuts for bearing.

Really wish it had more step by step instructions.

Why does the diff cover come off? I see no reason.
