very nice review! i have an 08 SE V6 with an all black interior. it lacks certain features but it does have JBL, Heated seats, and a navigation system. no push to start or rear climate, but with my intake I was able to achieve 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. I must say, I do love the luxury features of the XLE, but I do favor the styling quite more of the SE with the ground effects kit, 17 inch wheels, and rear spoiler with a rear diffuser. overall, these cars were for sure ahead of its time.
I have a 2009 XLE version with 179K miles. Bercelona Red, best color ever. Bought it from the first owner in 2011. He wanted a newer one. Mint condition then and mint condition now. Power, comfort, no issues at all. Will drive it forever. Only thing to watch for is the oil coolant lines in front of the radiator, replace with metal ones IF you have an oil coolant.
I"ve owned this exact car since 2012. Currently at 148K miles. I've had some work done on the front end as well as the AC over the years. But all in all it's been a great car. I've driven it to Fl and CA from Texas. It will go when you punch it a little. The trunk is great. The back seat is roomy. I keep thinking I need to upgrade my car but then this Camry does everything I need a car to do.
I just recently picked up a beautiful, 30,000 mile of this exact car (mint green with tan leather) & I absolutely love it! I’ve owned Toyotas for years but am not a fan of all the electronic passive controls most new vehicles possess - to say nothing of the ridiculous asking prices. Your review was spot-on: not a sports car but surprisingly quick with luxury and refinement that simply has no rival at any price. Thanks for posting!
Nice 👍 I have an XLE 2007 dropped it on inch nice rims and tires. I have borla exhaust and some times a K&N intake.. I put an SE grill ! I’m in California! Got it new and still love it 😍
I have the 2011 XLE V6 Camry and I absolutely love my car! With only minor, normal maintenance and 205,000 kms … still going strong…I live in Quebec where the we get tons of snow so I’ve had it shot with oil every year and it is rust free!
I have a 07 Camry I bought it for 3500 and it was salvaged but it works so well I have no issues. I been driving for only 3 years and she’s still my first car
I have the exact year and trim except I don't have the push start option or the smart key. The car has plenty of power not a slouch indeed. Good on gas I have average 32 mpg which is not bad for a midsized V6 Camry. Handling is more on the floaty side which is fine but very comfortable on road trips. The best daily I ever have.
I got a 2007 Toyota Avalon XLS...after watching this video I feel like I been robbed. This car has better features, interior, and styling with the same performance. Only difference is my car is slightly larger...what makes my Avalon their more expensive "flagship" sedan?
I always assumed the Avalon is that much closer to a luxury sedan. All trims are V-6 with sound deadening insulation to wipe out some of that engine & road noise. I actually bypassed the Avalon & went from a ‘13 Camry up to a ‘10 Base Lexus ES & love it.
The test figures at launch were low 7s to 60mph, are you referring to slick tyres? The TRD supercharged edition was low 6s, maybe you were ccidentaly quoting those numbers?
Buyers beware, an LE trim with a V6 does not come with springs or shocks that compliment the weight of the engine. 07’ and 08’ V6 XLE has the traction control gutted from the factory, no button. Had an 08’ in silver, you will out run a 3.7 Infiniti.
I love this car man. I really rather have this car at 19 than the corrolla i have i was just kind of rushed on getting my first car, wanna buy a 2008 xle v6 and have it as a project car
Great job...looking to buy one tomorrow..we will see. You should be a car salesman. You would do well.. sexy man...you catch the eye of the ladies and few guys too..ha
If not 150 bucks i upgraded my 03 jbl head unit when cd jammed up. Alpine from crutchfield, the threw in mounting kit and cables so it plugs and plays through jbl factory amp, great upgrade and affordable and sounds great.
the body roll issue gets fixed a lot if you put a strut brace and upgrade the rear sway bar to a thicker one. and if you put coilovers with that, there is zero body roll. I am using ultra racing strut brace and sway bars and HSD coilovers. My 07 xle also has aem intake with r9k tune and 245 sticky tires, pushing 0-60 in 4.5 sec.
I have a 2010 with 34k miles and the best part of this car is the acceleration! It pulls harder than my 2001 Acura Type S! And that car was pretty aggressive!
My first car was a 2007 Camry XLE loaded with every option plus the V6. Great car very reliable, I still have it to this day. Currently it has 89k miles. I Kept it well maintained everything was done through the Toyota dealership that I bought it from. I will keep it to it dies, I don’t see that happened anytime soon!
@@akshitchawla8939if you can fine one with decent to low miles I would say go for it. This generation is a working horse. Keep me updated with what you end up getting.
