Did you notice the headlight flicker on the passenger side, same problem I had with an identical Volvo, seems to be a common problem

Wife and I were talking about this model Volvo a few days ago, and we both agreed that it resembles a newer Honda crv, especially from the back and sides, we have seen a white and red color and they are the best looking ones but if we were to get a SUV it would be the xc90 cause it will not remind us of a Honda even though Volvo came up with the design 1st.

My dad had a 2013 Volvo XC60 R-design four wheel drive D4 but he sold it. And my uncle has a 2018 VolvoXC60 T8

Like any other vehicle. They suck. Engineers can’t make a good car. Recalls. Parts don’t last hard to work on.

It's a brilliant car. I have a 2009 model. It drives like it was built last week. If and when it ever needs replacing, it will definitely be another Volvo. My last one, V70, did over 300,000 miles, and I regretted selling it. As I made the horrid mistake of going French, Then Korean (suv) with eye watering repair bills. Got so sick of forking out money, I reverted back to what I know and trust. Volvo. Haven't regretted it for a second. XC60 is an outstanding machine.

@@MrSudanPresident depends on age ect, if it's same ball park as mine 2008 , then the obvious, timing belt change, if not done it will cost around £400-£600 depending upon where you go. Service record. All the electrics. Apart from the obvious, i can't really think of anything specific. Oh yes seat belt anchors, and sensors, make sure they are all ok. I.E. alarm goes off it seat belt not in use. Test every one. Make sure alarm goes off, then stops when you plug belt in. Sounds daft, it's an expensive fix. Apart from that, you will be able to get a feel when you see and drive it. Good luck

The expensive fix is regarding driver's seat, as it's all electric, and needs removed, replaced reset ect (labour costs at garage) i think it's a rare fault i had. I don't regret buying the car for 1 minute. All round it's the best car I've ever had, the only one that comes close was a volvo S80 top of the range 2.5 TDI. If you haven't owned a Volvo before, don't be put off by high mileage, my XC60 had 100,000 on it when i bought it. My previous which was a V70 2.5 TDI which had 300,000 on it when i sold it, indestructible, driven all over Europe numerous times pulling all sorts of weight, and behaved as if the car was empty. I bought an almost brand new Citroen Picasso, 😥 and it was a pile of fragile temperamental unreliable junk by comparison. In summary if you find a big engined Volvo that's been well looked after 👍
