Hi Marty, great video, easy to follow along and very specific! I have a 2008 535xi and the radio works except for the HD part of it. Any suggestions on how to get my HD back? I'm in MA and so far not one has been able to diagnose my issue.

Very nice video mate. I have no sound either in my e60 from 2005. Did you have any fault codes in you ecu? The pre owner put in an Android system.. If I want to go in my original menu, there only comes the BMW boot logo. Even my Idrive knob isn´t working properly. Will already change it out to see if it works. I also have CCC fault in my ecu. Ecerything else is working fine on the android. Any suggestions what else it could be?
Hi Steve Romeo the only thing that showed up was the sos fault on I drive . This is usually for the satellite radio but maybe check on the TCU or amplifier. That’s the only thing I can tell you sorry. Thanks for watching I appreciate you

Recently bought an 08 528i, stereo/ volume/ CD/ Aux all not working with sos malfunction on. I tried the bypass but still have the same results…any tips on what els it could be ? Idrive works normal just can’t hear any sound or use the aux & cd.
Hello sorry to hear that . Well I’m not to familiar with electronics but make sure you plugged into the satellite unit I’ve also been told could be the amp?? It could also be something wrong with the ccc or tcu unit which I don’t know much about . Try looking those up my friend . Hope you figure it out I’ll see if I can find more info too Sorry good luck
Do you do the same thing to fix a 2007 bmw 535 xi? Our radio won’t work the screen won’t turn on and it keeps running when the car is off and killing batteries left and right.

Has this happened to anyone? 2010 BMW 528i. Radio works and ALL fuses are good. But radio buttons and interior door handles and window button lights do not light up (illuminate) when lights are on. Dash instrument cluster works and so do the a/c control buttons. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi what if one of the optic fibre cable is not blinking? As I tried this but nothing is happening, mine has the SOS issue and is draining the battery slowly but sure.

I have sound one day it just went low all of a sudden like a bunch of bass and my speakers arent blown could it be the factory amp?? Would this work for that?
Hi jarz could be check your fuses if that don’t work try the fiber optic it’s cheap and not hard to do . All the fiber optic does is bypass the satellite. Thanks for watching I appreciate you good luck 👍

If the red light is showing on all 3 components I went to satellite box unplug and I attach the fiber optical cord is no sound is it possible I need to bypass the other 2 components they showing red light when you unplug

Welp, I bought the piece however I don’t have a satellite box like you do… idk if someone stole it or what but that’s just funny how it’s just not there😭 that probably explains why my screen says no signal

Hi. My radio stopped working after the battery was replaced. Would this method work for that as well? 2008 328i Also after we changed the battery I haven't driven the car much. Battery went dead, charged it now it's no crank no start. I've seen videos where it may be the IBS sensor??? No major problems with car prior to this. HELLP🥺
T Ray hello I don’t think so but it’s worth a try it’s not very expensive . I’m not sure if that year when you put a new battery you have to reprogram it maybe that’s the issue. Did they program it ?
@@gatiyovideo you need to get your new battery registered to the car, or the car could act in many different funny ways such drain your battery, start doing things on itz on like rolling down windows.

But check the fuse to radio ,check and make sure you plugged in to Sirius unit I’ve also been told could be the amp try bypassing the amp ?? It could also be something wrong with the ccc, tcu units which I don’t know much about try looking those up my friend. Keep me updated hope you get it
