Hell yeah it’s a shame more people don’t know about these but honestly I’m kind of glad they didn’t because they’re a lot a car for not a lot of money because of it. Plus I have a brazzers back license plate cover that’s gotta add about 10bhp, right?
Looks like they're pretty evenly matched. I got to give it to the G8 because it's almost 10 years older, has less mods, and still was able to give the charger hell.
@@cevinmoore8428 LS platfforms are known for their reliability, wide selection of performance parts and tunability and tbh, it goes the same for mopar. So eventually it be a matter of preference.
The GXP is definitely an ageless gem, hellcats are all over the place if you know what i mean, so if you looking for something unique then get that GXP.

Everything is a mopar killer lol. These land yacht mopars are really cool but you HAVE to build them. You cannot leave them stock or you'll lose to everything.

That charger aint tuned right, cuz i spank full bolt on & cam ls3's all day and my scat only has a hellcat airbox and mid mufflers, thats it and i walk these in the camaros and they lighter than the G8 but its the same LS3
Ahh ..Plenty vids on here , solid proof of bolt on ls3 , a few stock smoking dodges..only the demon and hellcat win , if the ls3 has a turbo or super charger , it beats both the cat and the demon .Lol every one talks big, trash , word of mouth ..when they plenty of action /lived out proof / videos that prove even the old school Gm small blocks can beat dodge and Ford.and look at the new vette ..nothing Ford or dodge makes in this day and time can touch it.90% of folks that comment on vids don't even have the car they claim they do , many are careless, all hype and bs.dodges big ugly sail boats just can't compete with even old 10 to 20 years old Gm cars and trucks .not just for better performance, but looks and dependability , easy to work on, easy to build , etc etc
Mr. TAMW Rick Crawford is one of the best tuners for g8s and cts v his shop is in N.Carolina he’s very busy and the only way I know how to reach him is through email, but he’s a top 5 tuner
@@boilermaker893 yeah but the G8 is only going to make like 370 to 390 to wheels so somewhere around maybe 420 at the motor. The 6.4 Charger makes 470 at the motor stock, and ported intake, exhaust, cams, e85, thats 550 at the least the motor. There's no way those cars should be running side by side unless the G8 has more in it, or the charger doesn't have all those mods listed
@@MrDerekRobinson it’s my g8, it dyno’d 419 at the wheels at ls fest in 2019. The charger was a low 11 sec(maybe 10?) 1/4 mile car whereas mine had 2.92 highway gears
@@boilermaker893 419 to wheels sounds like dynojet numbers. Kinda high reading dynos those are. However the mods for the charger still should've had the charger pulling on you. That's the thing. If it was maybe tuned only that would be more fairly even the way these pulls looked. Unless cammed chargers performance boost isn't that great for hemi engines. Never actually looked into that
Someone wasted alot of money on the charger 😆 or the tuner absolutely sucks, or the G8 has more than just a cam. For the mods that were given the charger should've smoked the G8 pretty badly one of the owners is lying 😆
