I came here to see how to remove the clamps ( @3:50 ) but all I learned is how to block the view of what was going on. From there on, couldn't see what was going on. This is like reading a mystery novel and finding out the last page is missing.
Did you end up figuring it out? I'm about to do it on my Cobalt. It looks like you have to remove the little blue safety clip first, and then you squeeze the white clip while pulling up. It seems straight forward, but kind of a pain at the same time.
