maybehabitforming is correct, I am all about "pedal to the medal" but if you are buying the boat/own the boat it is you fuel and your boat, I dont care what anybody says about my hard earned money/boat
Uh no, look at all the people who don't own one that can tell people how to handle them. If you pay for my internet then you can tell me what to write.
I believe that is the owner of the boat speaking. He is worried about running the motors up to high for to long. Sounds like it could use more prop to me.
i do believe the engines in that boat are stock merc 700's, other than he had the computers re-worked, that's why they are turning the higher rpm's. That's also why it will hit 110, a 39 gun usually runs around 104-106 mph with the stock set-up.
You don't by a boat like that to compensate for something. You buy a boat like that as a compliment to something. You don't pull back you shove it in!!! Balls to the fucking wall!!!
LOL...Those motors are awesome, but still a performace item. So they are not immune to throwing a rod through the block... So do the math on that one....
Don't need s calculator for that! ONE BIG BILL. The 600 hp - 800 hp motors are a safer bet. Start exceeding that range? That's when the "fun" really begins,,,,,,,,😎.
